About WhisperML
Helps Master Looters in raids where loot assignment is done by bids and/or random rolls.
What It Does
Check the "Guide" screenshot for a quick idea.
Notes all master-lootable items from mobs you right-click on to loot, and presents a GUI displaying the items (across multiple mobs). Allows you to request a /roll on any item, or bids via whisper on one or all items.
Collects bids via whispered item links (the colored [SomeItem of the Something] links you can click in chat). Displays a list of bidders sorted by name.
Collects rolls from player /roll. Displays as list of rollers and rolls sorted by highest roll.
Allows you to assign items to bidders or rollers by clicking a button.
What it Doesn't Do
WhisperML doesn't manage DKP, implement any DKP system, or know anything about DKP. If you use DKP to decide on who wins a bid, you must look up which bidder won yourself somewhere else (another addon, a web site, your notebook, etc.).
If This AddOn Seems Abandoned
If more than two weeks go by after a major patch and this addon isn't updated, I've probably been hit by a bus. In that case I encourage anyone with the necessary ability to take over maintenance of the addon. It is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, which means anyone can take it and do whatever they want with it, as long as they too release their code under the same terms.

I doubt I will support XLoot specifically, but I agree there is a problem I need to address with how to show the WhisperML window. I have been doing "/wm gui" myself for the time being because I haven't come up with the right answer.
In the first cut of the addon the window was attached to the blizzard loot frame and was visible when the loot frame was, but that didn't turn out to be very usable.
One option is to have a minimap button and/or databroker provider for Titan Panel etc, but that's a lot of code for something I think is still pretty awkward.
Another option is to have the window pop up whenever any loot frame pops up with master lootable loot, and stay up until you close WhisperML itself. This is probably what I'm leaning towards at the moment. The only problem is that I don't want to tie WhisperML to master looting where it doesn't need to be.
If you have any other suggestions please post them, I am keen to try to fit better with how people actually do master looting.
I should have beta16 out in the next day or two, which pending bugs will probably be the first release version. After that I hope to pretty up the edit box where you set the Bank/DE names and have it autocomplete from people in the raid.
Best wishes and happy adventuring.
Assuming it doesn't bug out next time I try it I'll release a new beta shortly.
