About Whiteboard -Cont. for BC-
NOTICE!
This addon is currently being developed by Ehab Amer "Waheiba" not Unilus, I'll be responsible for submitting further updates on the add-on and maintaining it.
Originally started by Cryect, there haven't been any updates for this to work in BC.
I -don't- know much lua, so bear with me, but I think this should be working.
Hopefully, I'll be able to keep this updated and, who knows, I might add some nice little touches of my own? ^^
It's a simple addon. Just type /whiteboard or /wb to bring it up, and start drawing!
Your whiteboard will only talk to others on the same channel you selected (4 buttons on the right) to optimize network usage
Holding Shift with left mouse click will allow you to move the window.
Holding Alt with mouse click on the whiteboard will allow you to use the eraser tool
In a raid channel only only officers and Raid Leader can edit the whiteboard, sending a session request will recheck the permissions (THEY ARE NOT CHANGED AUTOMATICALLY IF U PROMOTE/DEMOTE SOMEONE)
2.8.3
Tagged for 4.3
2.8.2
Fixed networking issue causing lines not to be sent across ppl on the channel
2.8
Support for patch 4.2
2.7.3
Support for patch 4.1
Fixed a problem with saving images showing erased symbols
Reduced message size on network
2.7.2b-
fixed major issue that prevented the add-on from working properly
2.7.2-
Support for ver 4.0.1
Minor Usability Enhancements
2.7.1-
Fixed the "Send Request" feature to be received from any channels as was intended
2.7-
NOTE: ver 2.7 is not compatible with 2.6, everyone should update or errors would come up
improved interface
drawing area is now bigger and removed background
added all 8 raid icons
fixed a bug when deleting an icon/symbol when no lines were drawn at all
fixed a permissions bug
added a session request message, to tell people on the selected channel to open whiteboard
2.6-
Project is now developed by Ehab Amer "Waheiba"
added feature to draw symbols (currently an X) on clicks aside from drawing lines (works in save/load also)
added raid permissions, only raid leader and assistants can change the image drawn in a raid channel.
Add-on starts hidden, type /wb or /whiteboard to show it.
