About WonderRep (Reputation)

What is it? - A simple reputation / faction mod. Dynamically changes your reputation bar, and tracks how much reputation you've gained. More info below.

Current Features -
- Toggleable: Changes blizzard reputation experience bar to the reputation you are currently gaining.
- Changes reputation bar to the appropriate reputation when entering a battle ground. (ex: The Defilers / The League of Arathor when entering Arathi Basin)
- NEW: Also Changes the reputation bar when entering certain instances. (Current instances supported: Stratholme, Zul'Gurub, Naxxramas)
- Toggleable: Can announce when it changes the bar
- Toggleable: Can announce when you get a reputation change (killing a mob, turning in a quest, etc) how much more reputation you need till the next level. (ex: 1000 more reputation needed for Friendly)
- Toggleable: Keeps track of reputation earned during a session. Can announce how much long untill the next 'level' at the current rate.
- Commands to change where the messages are displayed in the chat log or combat log (default is chat log).

How do I use it? - Unzip it to your interface/addons directory.

When you run world of warcraft be sure to check the addon list to see that it is checked. When you login you should see a message in your chat frame (might be scrolled up if there are lots of addons) about WonderRep has loaded.

Commands -
Use /wonderrep <command> or /wrep <command> to perform the following commands:
help -- Shows in game help
status -- shows your current settings
announce -- toggles whether to display reputation to next level message
autobar -- toggle whether to automatically change the reputation bar or not
barchange -- toggles whether to display a message when the reputation bar is changed
chat -- Changes where WonderRep messages are displayed to the Chat Frame
combatlog -- Changes where WonderRep messages are displayed to the Combat Log
interval
color <color> -- changes the color of most of WonderRep's messages. Available colors are: red, green, emerald, yellow, orange, blue, purple, cyan.

New commands:
autobar -- toggle whether to automatically change the reputation bar or not

    Hi

    This addon isn't updating guild rep for me. I actually did try other addons and they seem to have the same issue.

    My guild rep reports as neutral 0/3000

    Is there anyway to turn off certain reps ie. guild or exalted?

    Guild Reputation is not correctly recognized ATM. Always bringts "Brand new faction" message.

    As a side note: Perhaps would be a good idea for the options menu: If rep with multiple factions is increased at the same time, and one of that factions is the guild, don't change the bar to guild reputation.

    I'd like to work with WonderRep and modify it a bit to do a couple extra features. I'd like to make a sub-addon of it that specifically tracks reputation, times, ect for Insane in the Membrane achievement. If you're interested, please contact me.

    Sorry that it doesn't work, I made this addon a long time ago just as something I kind of wanted when grinding rep. I've never looked into supporting it in a different locale so I have no plans to try and fix that, sorry.

    If someone else wants to let me know though!

    I just recently found this addon, and it's something that I've been looking for for a long time.

    However, I have one minor suggestion. When I'm leveling an alt that still has an XP bar, the UI layout is slightly off after login if I have the rep bar up. If I clear, and then re-enable the rep-bar the layout is corrected. I'm not sure if this is because of other addons, but I've had this problem for years.

    Can we have an option to just clear the rep bar totally on login? Then the first rep gain would re-enable it, and the layout would be correct.

    Whenever I open the options (/wrep) I get this error:

    Interface\FrameXML\UIDRopDownMenu.lua:809: attempt to index local 'frame' (a number value)

    New version is uploaded should be on the page soon should fix the problem of most wotlk reputations not working. If you run into any more problems please let me know! (Sorry about it taking a few days to notice it myself!)

    Seems that not all of the new Factions are included. E.g. "The Wyrmrest accord" (or sth like that) always brings the message "Brand new faction discovered", but does not change the rep bar.
