[9f1d3224d316] [6.2.2-1]
* Main.lua

Fixed Patch 6.2.0+ itemstring processing. While at it, significantly refactored code that records item data so it is vastly better.

What's going on? Recently, I've added a message in September 2015. News today on 10 September 2015 look since 2014? Takes even one to this beta version? Some should check whether the people are still working on their extensions or what is whatever thing already!
Was ist da los?

The Beta version of the Profiler is intended for PTR/Beta use only, and is not consistently maintained if the PTR and Beta realms are inactive or are on the same version as Live realms.

  • #83

Silly question but how is the data uploaded to WoWdb?

  • #84

Curse Client uploads the WoWDBProfiler.lua from SavedVariables in the WTF folder of World of Warcraft. That file is then parsed by the site and the data is put into the database.

You're using alpha versions. Right-click the AddOn in your list from the Curse Client and set its release stage to Release. Only internal testers should be using the Alphas, as they may break things.

  • #63

Could this addon possibly get a free pass and auto update in the Curse client even if you don't have Premium?

  • #65

I'm with you.  I am ready to uninstall this add-on.  I don't mind helping out but manually updating this add-on EVERY day (sometimes twice a day) is getting annoying...

  • #67

Are you both using the alpha version of the addon? The client already should automatically update the addon to the release version, no matter what.

  • #61

Does this AddOn track the names and locations for dig sites? I realize a manual data push is required on WoWDB, just as people need to manually edit WoWPedia, but I'm curious because every now and then I search WoWHead, WoWDB, and WoWPedia for "digsite" and only WP has data (missing Mantid, but that's new).

Kinda sorta. We track the locations where you dig up artifacts, but not the blob map regions. See:

  • #64

That's what I thought, Chaud, and thank you for the reply.

I have been trying to delete this from my addons, because I don't use it, and I don't like addons taking up more memory than they have to. Every time I delete it, it comes right back. How the Hell do I get rid of this stupid thing?!

  • #60

Uncheck it in the Curse Client options.

(It isn't likely impacting your performance)
