If I enable this addon I get a full client crash whenever I roll on loot. I've gone through all my addons one by one, and WoWDB profiler is the cause.

I know some people who have had this issue for awhile and don't run the addon. I saw something on the official forums about loot-window-popup crashes being related to sound drivers, passed it on to them, and surprisingly updating them worked. You might want to try that just in case that is actually the cause.

OK, so, since I can't seem to find any instructions anywhere about how to use this addon, I'm going to just go ahead and ask my noobish question:

Do I actually have to have the Curse Client running while I play WoW for the information to be uploaded to WoWDB, or does the Client actually check for a file to upload the information whenever you start the client?

Nope, you just need Curse Client open right before the game closes for it to see you are done playing and upload. No need to do this every session, just once in a while.

Yeah, thanks. I figured that out a few days after I posted my question.

Sure would be nice if they could fix the programming to just check the "SavedVariables" file the next time you start the client, delay the upload til the client is done loading, then do an automatic upload and perhaps show a completion message to let you know it has done its' job. Just a thought.
