About Who's tanking - frames

oUF based!

This addon is based on (embedded) oUF!

version < 1.32:
it requires you to install oUF (download from wowinterface.com).
Sorry about this dependency, but it shouldn't be that critical.

Summary

Since oRA3 doesn't provide MT-Target Frames anymore, i decided to write this addon.

The main goal is to display oRA3 sortable Maintank/Playertank target frames.

Changes

V 1.2. Add Font options (Font face + font size)
V 1.32 oUF embedded!
V 1.40 Add Grow upwards and Grow left
V 1.50 Update for oUF 1.4 changes

Warning: Includes oUF 1.4 (Not backwards compatible with 1.3.x layouts!!). If you are using oUF 1.3.x addons, please update them or stick to WTFrames 1.40.

  • Config (Grow-direction, preview optimizations, ...)

WARNING!! for the latest versions (>= 1.1)

You should reload your UI after chaning some options!! (Instead of hitting "apply" all the time).

    Hey, Im wondering if there is a way to change the colour of the frames. I am trying to get it to match my UI so I would like to change it to a dark grey. Also is there any easy way of changing the Power Bar to class colour?

    Took a look thru some more of the diffrent files and managed to change the Health colour. I started reading thru the power.lua and came across that you can change power to class colours, how so?

    For some reason, there is a huge gap in the tanks they are not next to each other and spread out but I cannot figure out why at all?

    One issue I am having is that clicking on the tank bar does not always target the tank.

    I suspect it's an oUF problem (the embedded framework used to build the frames)
    or a problem with the changes related to the transition to newest oUF.

    I have the same problem and I've gotten the complaint from several raiders using the oRA3+WTFrames combo on my team too.

    v1.61 is extremely "lazy" in responding to clicks.
    It takes 2-3 clicks to target the tank or tank target and occasionally they stop responding at all.
    No lua errors thrown or taint problems that I can see (I run with taintLog enabled)

    I had to move to SimpleTankFrames until this is fixed.

    WTFrames.toc is incorrectly pointing to libs\CallbackHandler-1.0\CallbackHandler.xml

    It should be: libs\CallbackHandler-1.0\CallbackHandler-1.0.xml

    In commit r32 something broke the "grow upwards" function. The commit comment says "Fix stupid c&p error (some test "grow upwards" code slipped in)" but it might be that too much got deleted or some thing? :)

    I'm a tank and these frames are very good, used with ORA3. I do miss one feature from the old ORA2 frames however. When I'm tanking multiple mobs with another tank, it is useful for me to be able to quickly tell when I'm targeting the same mob the other tank is. In ORA2, this happened with highlighting the frames, so if we were both on the same target, the frames would be highlighted. If not, no highlighting would occur. It was just a simple white border around the target's frame. Is it possible to do this with WTFrames as well? If not, can I request the feature be added please please please :P

    Is it possible to set keybindings for the the mt targets?
    Because I do miss this option and to set targets manualy for Heroics.

    Using v1.40 the option to not show MT-target-target does not "stick".
    Unchecking it has no effect (after reloadui).

    Follow up on own report.
    For configuration changes (any of them) to apply
    you NEED to hit PREVIEW first THEN Reload.

    Am I the only one that assumed preview wasn't related to saving?
