About XConjureBar

Are you a mage who finds himself struggling to keep his conjure spells together? Do you find the extra action bars intrusive and have been wishing some kind soul somewhere would create a small, simple set of buttons to automatically conjure food, water, or gems?

Well, look elsewhere. I am no kind soul, but I am a merciful lord.

Using my unique ability known as programmer-jitsu, I have toiled long and hard to craft an addon to XBar so perfect that I was hesitant to even give to the squishy masses. After much debate and a few gnome-puntings later, I now give you said addon.

To install, I prefer Method #53. Elegant, painful, and leaves only the great smell of Brute.
First, make sure you've got XBar already installed, then unzip the file into your AddOns directory. Next, simply load up WoW, pop on as your mage, and you should be good to go. Your spells will automatically add themselves to the bar as you acquire them and will update with the latest rank as well, just like every other XBar plugin.

Use it well, puny squishy.

-Vashtal, Lord of the Red Rocks

Author's Note:
This is my first mod, and I'd like to thank Dr Doom for his wonderful Xbar mod that has made my overall experience so much more manageable. Unfortunately, since I only speak English and Japanese, the only real localization you'll get with this pack is English. If there's anyone out there capable of translating for me, you're more than welcome to chime in!

Which functionality? Sorry but The Portals not showing, there is only One.
    Conjured Items not Showing.

So don't recommend so much stupid stuff.

    There is only one what?
  • #11
I'd actually recommend WhammyBar, much better functionality and sure to be updated compared to these ;)

bartender is rather large, I already have way too many addons lol. Plus don't want clashing with other crud lol. Plus I just like the idea of this, a lot, I just wish it was a stand-alone. I love the looks of xbar, but again, just want something simple such as this :)

Anyway, this is still a great addon (so don't get me wrong on my prev comment)

Just use bartender, it's a little more complicated but in fact much easier to use and way better.

*begs* lol seriously I'm looking for a small easy to use addon for just conjuring addons, and this is the only one (i do believe) please update lol

    Is it Good?

    love this little addon :)

but i cant get it to work, since the last xbar update
  • #5
Yeah, I didn't know XBar was updated and their format changed until just recently because I don't use it any more. This project may be abandoned in the future since this bar is included in the default package of my WhammyBar mod http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/whammybar.aspx

Hi... Love this addon :) One thing though before the update I could see my mana gem on the bar... Now it only shows the food, water, and table, I have tried unchecking them and rechecking them but still no show... Any ideals?

This was due to me not having updated it in a while. The mana gems became 1 spell, rather than a seperate one for each level. That's taken care of in my v0.54 update. Hope that helps! (got some new images as well. Not much a fan of curse)

    Any pics?

I think this addon is rather useless, myself I use a macro for this. All I have to do when I get a new rank for water/food is change what I'm consuming.

    /cast [button:1,nomodifier]Conjure Water;[button:1,modifier:shift]Conjure Food;[button:1,modifier:ctrl]Conjure Mana Jade;
    /use [button:2,nomodifier]Conjured Spring Water;[button:2,modifier:shift]Conjured Pumpernickel;[button:2,modifier:ctrl]Mana Jade;

I have to say, I didn't make this macro myself, I just 'ripped' it from WoWWiki and thought I post it here because it's real useful

    What it basically does:

It gives you a button you can put in your actionbar, it's one button that will allow you to conjure food/drink/mana gem and consume food/drink mana gem

    Conjure drink: Click
    Conjure food: Shift + Click
Conjure mana gem: Ctrl + Click
    Consume drink: Right-Click
    Consume food: Shift + Right-Click
Consume mana gem: Ctrl + Right-click

I think it's kinda obvious what has to be changed when you get a new kind of food
But, for those who don't get it.

If you get new drinks: Change there where it says "Conjured Spring Water"
If you get new food: Change there where it says "Conjured Pumpernickel"
If you get new mana gem: Change there where it says "Mana Jade"
