About Xparky

If any of you has ever seen FuBar_FuXPFu, then Xparky is it's replacement.

FuXP had the unfortunate limitation that it could only attach to a fubar, and often had refreshing issues, so instead of continuing to support that addon, I decided to write a standalone that would not have such limitations.

For those who haven't seen it before, Xparky is simply a very basic, very shiny XP/Rep bar that can be attached to any named frame available. As can be seen from the images, you can attach it to any side of any frame, and even set an offset so that the bars float off the frames.

All colours are configurable, and it works off the Watched Reputation, so if any other addon modifies that, it will update Xparky alongside it.

Use '/xparky' to pull up the configuration, and have fun!

    love this addon, just wish there was a way to resize the lenght of the xp bar and a way to rotate it, got it set to the left of the world frame, and the xp goes down to lvl, rather if i could rotate the bar so it goes up to lvl

    One of my favorite features of FuBar_FuXPFu was the ability to click and insert a quick experience report into chat. Maybe it was just a bonus feature, but am I missing how to do that in Xparky (or any other way/addon)? Thanks!

    would be nice to have a resize option..

    i have Dominos which reconfigs just about everything and.. well.. it shrinks the XP bar massively when i'd love for it to be regular size

    well, i had the same problem with the repbar as the first poster (not really a problem, but i also wanted the maximum for reputation to show the value for just that level... 6000 for honored and not 9000)

    so, to all ppl that want the same thing as i do, here is the solution:
    go to xparky folder in addons and open xparky.lua
    find this line:
    repString = getHex("RepBar").. currentRep - minRep.."|r/"..getHex("NoRepBar") .. maxRep .."|r"

    and just add - minRep after last maxRep so it looks like this:
    repString = getHex("RepBar").. currentRep - minRep.."|r/"..getHex("NoRepBar") .. maxRep - minRep .."|r"

    save the file and enter wow, the repbar goal for that rep level will be 6000 to gain honored, 12000 to gain revered...

    ooo, and i hope i didn't do something wrong by posting this:)

    Xparky does not seem to remember the spark intensity. I set it to 0.1 for both bars, and after a re-log, it still shows as 0.1 in the options but in reality it is using 1.0

    I'm in the same situation as Tinolyn. I'd like to see profiles for this. I have a level 80 and, when logged on that toon, I don't care about my XP and just want a rep bar. The situation is reversed with my alts, rep is unimportant to me, I just want to see the xp bar. Could you implement profiles, please?

    Is there anyway to control the height of Legobox?
    Cause it doesn't match wiht other addons like Fortress.
    Hopefully it would be nice if there's an option that control the height of Legobox.

    Are there plans to put in profiles for this? On some characters, I'd like to have both bars show, on others, I only want one.

    Also, any option to swap the order of bars? (xp on the bottom, for example).

    The slash command isn't very specific. I know of at least one addon which uses it already (x-perl) and I'm sure some other people have too. Would you please register an additional slash command "xparky" as is the custom (shortcut and full addon name).

    I'm using Xparky-r81759.1 and I can't access any options. Is there an element I should be looking for on screen or is there a command line that I can use? /xparky doesn't work.
