About YurrCombatLog

YurrCombatLog is a replacement for Blizzard_CombatLog in the style of SimpleCombatLog.

Features

  • Lightweight
  • Replace Blizzard_CombatLog events with a reformatted events so it's faster to read what information you want when the combat log is scrolling very fast
  • Colors of names are different for You, Pets, Enemies, Party, Raid, Guardians/Totems or color names by their class

    I just returned from a +/- 6 month break. I updated all my addons using the curse client, including Yurr. However, it still says out of date.
    Anyway I noticed I have FPS lag as soon as I use any ability. So I tried my addons, disabling, testing, and re-enabling them one by one, until I found out it was Yurr. (ironically, it was the lowest one in the list and I started on top Yell )
    When I disable Yurr, my FPS lag is gone. When I enable it, it's there again.

    I don't have any other addon using the logs, so I'm like 99% sure it must be Yurr. I also tried to remove the addon and reinstall it, but no luck.

    Is this something more people have? Is it a known problem? And more important, can I fix this myself in some way or will it be fixed by the author?

    I recently returned from a break also and am having the same issue.  Yurr was the cause of it, however, the mod is no longer being updated so it is to be expected.

    I am having the same issue: default combat log info and the yurr combat log info. In addition default quick button frame remains, and when I click your pop-out button it puts your frame just above the default frame and blocks your button. I tried switching the Yurr output to a different unused chat frame and that seemed to work ok, but the quick button remained on the default combat log. I run with quite a few addons, so I tried disabling all addons but Yurr on one toon but had the same issues. I suppose next I will try it after wiping out the interface and wtf folders.

    Any ideas on any of this? And it works correctly for you? I hope you can resolve this stuff as I really love the addon and have used it off and on as it worked for a while now.

    After installing this, my combat log is now showing double entries for everything. it shows the default combat log information and also the yurr-formatted combat log entries.
    how do i make it show just the yurr-formatted lines? thanks

    hi. there are no errors, and i just installed - did not configure anything. didn't know there was something to configure, i figured it just "took over" the combat log :) i did not change any output window or anything.
    i didn't see any special instructions above (other than /ycl) or in the install tab above for it, so thought there was no configuration. i'll check out the /ycl settings though! thanks.
