While Craig Morrison has only been Game Director of Age of Conan for a few weeks, he's already sharing some details on what's coming for the game.  The latest Letter from the Game Director is up on the Age of Conan community site, and it contains lots of tidbits on a few major features coming down the pipe soon.

Today I wanted to take the opportunity to go over some of the updates, changes and developments you will see in the game over the coming weeks and months. Hopefully this will give you a little insight into what order things are being addressed in and what sequence you will see the new content arrive in.

There are two things on the immediate horizon that will very soon be on the test server for public testing in the shape of Ymir’s Pass and the second stage of the PVP update. There are a couple of things I want to address on these.

A new playfield called Ymir's Pass, the PVP consequences system, itemization and attribute distribution improvements, and much more will be coming to Age of Conan in the next few weeks and months.

To find out more about all of this new information, head over to the Letter from the Game Director.

He did wonders with AO turning it back after terrible launch. I can see him doing great things with AoC.

I think AoC still can be a winner. I started to play it again after a few month's break and must say that it's quite enjoyable, even without the Murder system in placeBalance is better and many Bugs have been removed. It's fun to play and looks absolutely stunning. They finally seem to listen to their customers a little and give this game more "Meaning".

One can only hope. The more quality mmo's out there, the better for us the players.

Craig has a decent track record. He repaired AO as best he could. He's now at the helm of FunCom's flagship title. He's certain to do a better job than Gaute Godager ever did.

Doubtful. AoC left a lot of people with a bad taste in their mouth. In between WoW expac. and WAR I expect AoC to remain a niche game catering mostly to a European market.
