Flying Lab Software have published a preview of the UI in Patch 1.5. Quite a bit of energy have been put into redefining the UI of Pirates of the Burning Sea. The goal is for them to provide players with a much more clean user experience, and we all know (or, at least I do!) having a nice UI to play with really makes the experience so much nicer.
You can expect improvements and/or additions in the following areas:
- Port Conquest Status UI is getting an overhaul
- Toolbars (hotbars) and Click-Dragging have been looked at, expect many changes
- Something many players have requested is Collapsible Inventory and Skill Lists, this will be reality in Patch 1.5
- Another addition, while fairly minor, it's nice to have the option: Lockable Mini-map
- New UI Art have been added, never hurt to have more eyecandy
- Support for UChat will be included, which is the Sony chat system that allow you to chat with players from other PotBS servers, not to mention other MMO's published by Sony.
