Exclusive DragonBall Online Gameplay Video Revealed!

Feb. 14, Bandai Korea，NTL，and CJinternet etc (game related companies) announced the latest gameplay video and current stage of the much anticipated MMORPG of 2008 - DragonBall Online, based on the popular DragonBall franchises. The game will be in beta around Q2 2008 in Korea.

2008 is definitely going to be a big year for all the DragonBall fans around the world! The DragonBall real-life action Movie is also coming out this year on August 15th (USA).

About DragonBall Online:

Dragon Ball Online is not a casual game but a MMORPG set in the Dragon Ball world 216 years after the original storyline. The game graphics will fully reflect the comic style of the original work. The characters in Dragon Ball Online are made in 3D, and the game has introduced quite a number of innovative game systems including world martial arts tournament (Tenkaichi Budoukai) and marriage system.

Tenkaichi Budoukai Feature:

The world martial arts tournament is an online counter strike system which produces the strongest player in the game.

The marriage system: is a system characterized by alternation of generations, where players can get married and have their children and they rely on their offspring to continue their adventures in the game. Players can only acquire new abilities through alternation of generations.

It is said that Ntl. Inc. is supported by Bandai in developing Dragon Ball Online and that Akira Toriyama, the author of Dragon Ball, has been keeping an eye the development of the game.

Will the dragon balls be in DBO in the form of quests, End game events for level cap players, or will it they only obtainable once a year and players have to fight over claim of the dragon balls?

you can not be sayain(yet) but its most likely you will be able to go super sayain because it would not be dragon ball without sayains but it will probably be very hard to get the abillitie to transform into one or you may have to gather the dragon balls and wish to become a sayain.

No North American release has been announced as of yet, though in a press conference held in South Korea on February 14th, 2008, NTL expressed interest in releasing the game to a worldwide audience.[2]

not sure if you can go super saiyan you can only be human namek or buu unless you find some saiyan dna and eject it into your self to become half saiyan or somethink

it will come to europe and the uk the other games did its abit sad korea gets a head start tolevel up to a high level and its abit wierd getting married and having a kid how long until he grows up how long until a years have passed it will come out about a year or 2 ill be no1

Actually, to be more accurate, Akira Toriyama has complete creative control over the project, and according to a report on the official site, has been working on character designs for this project for the last five years.

This looks amazing, but how many years has it taken them? Really like the look of this so far. But probably won't be released in UK/US till maybe Q4 or early next year I think.
