Well TSG is a large guild, and we didnt get in so it wasnt based on size.

My guild have more than 320 active (logged in the last month) account, soo it's prolly not based on guild size :). (we fill 2x500 characters slots)

We only knew that the keys were probably going to be sent out early today. Curse was gracious enough to leave no indication that they had even been distributed. Leaving all of us to sit and wonder whether we still had a chance. That is why it is a waste of time. Regardless of whether i got in or not, I still feel that it is unfair to leave everyone else in the dark. There is no reason for you to even be here making assumptions and insulting people. I pray that you end up on our server so that we may stomp your arrogant faces into the dirt.

Yeah, you're probably telling the truth because I've been registered on this site since they made the Curse client tool, and I didn't win, so, winning before registering seems to fit the pattern of all the other give aways. I'm gonna take my bitterness and wash it down with some self-loathing. Have fun playing. At least promise to do some bug reporting while you're in there. By the way, what's your guild's website, I'd like to see what kind of guilds got keys. Just to have any idea what Kody was looking for in his picks.

I'm not pulling chains, I'm deadly serious. The reason behind other guilds not posting may have been the same as me not posting earlier. I was never registered on this website until an hour ago. Therefore, they may not be able to post.

Well, that's about right, if he is telling the truth. 10 guilds have been active on these boards since they announced this. Out of the 10, 0 got in. So...the other 20 came from people who just sent in their mail that probably said "Oboyz Kodee!...Let us INZ weer the l33t35t geeld in Age of Kumar"

And if the patterns from any of the other giveaways is an indication, they got a free pass. O yeah, they also probably registered last night, not 2.5 days ago.

if your not just pulling our chain, that is 1/20 of the emails for 15 keys..is as you say, your guild got their email.

Yes, the keys have been sent out. They were actually sent out EXTREMELY early today. I'm talking before most of us even woke up. My guild got in, fortunately. Sorry to those who didn't get in, I know what it feels like.

Well The Sundered Guard is still waiting, I found out after sending in my email that a guild member had already sent one even though she is not even an AoC chapter office much less a leader. So UI hope they look at my email as it contains alot of guild info.

Hey man its understandable. Im surprised he hasn't posted in here at all recently. It does suck when you follow a game and then they start releasing all of these "betas" and you have been waiting for years and still can't get in. Heck I have an account from 05 on AOC, he doesn't have beta.

I think, maybe, I need to stop trying to get keys through contests or giveaways. I've yet to participate in one that gave me a good feeling. For example, 200 keys given away to 1200 registrants last week, and no one that I know or have seen active gets one. Mmolecule's contest is plagued with people registering multiple accounts, and they start out giving 100 keys away, I register on the first day, and then they spread the contest over 5 days, but allow people to keep registering for the contest, I'm guessing last day odds are worse than first days, some guys that won the TTHammer contest can't even spell or use remotely correct grammar in their contest entry (wonder if the devs will be able to read their bug reports, HAH).

I don't know, even the file planet thing has been a major disappointment to everyone. You can never get any sort of answers anywhere, the Gamespot PvP weekend was a downloading tragedy. Now, we have no idea whether or not any of us got any keys, or even that some other guild, besides the 7-10 guilds that have been actively posting here for the last 2 days or so, won any.

I know that I spent about an hour on my application, and even though we're a very small guild, I at least thought we'd get an honorable mention for being one of less than 10 merc guilds that I've seen active online worldwide. Right now, merc'ing doesn't look that popular. But Kody said FC wanted a mix of different types of guilds, So, you'd think they might want to put a merc guild in there with the 20.

But hey, I guess I was being too hopeful. I'm just trying not to be jaded and selfish, but I've only tried in about 20 different contests so far, and really felt this was our best shot, since we've really worked hard on hashing our guild out, but cant' really recruit that heavily until launch because we need to see what kind of demand there is for mercs.
