The details about the EvE Online fan gathering, EVE Fanfest 2008 has been announced. CCP Games also published information about special travel packages that's been arranged, making it much cheaper and smooth to attend to the Fan Fest. If you're new to this whole Fanfest thing, it's something that CCP Games have held for four years and it's something that have recieved great feedback and praise. The EVE Fanfest 2008 will be held between November 7 to the 8th. The location will be Laugardalur in the heart of Reykjavik, the capitocal of Iceland. With the cooperation of Iceland Air, there's so far three special package deals if you're located in Germany, Holland or Unites States. To note is that the special offer from Germany ends June 15.
CCP Games lets us know that there's more packages in the works and they will be posted as soon as possible. Not to mention further details surrounding the EVE Fanfest 2008 will be published on the official EVE Online website "soon".

It's quite impressive how CCP Games arrange special package deals to bring EVE Online players all the way to Iceland. Iceland is well known for their Blue Lagoon where you can soak in the milky turquoise waters in a lunar-like landscape of lava fields, the lagoon is renowned for its health benefits and its mineral-rich, geothermal seawater. This might be another reason to get a few days off and enjoy all that Iceland has to offer, regardless of the reason - CCP Games makes it easier and more accessible and it shows that they really care about their game.
