Gamer Grub: A healthy, non-messy snack for gamers?

We've seen energy drinks for gamers in the past, but honestly... those were mostly just a gimmick-wrapped normal energy drink.  Now, thanks to a patent pending product by Biosilo Foods, Gamer Grub will soon be available.

This is a snack engineered for gamers; four different flavors typically found as favorites amongst gamers: Action Pizza, Racing Wasabi, Strategy Chocolate and Sports PB&J comprise the initial product lineup.  They come in an ergonomic container designed to be grabbed by one hand while you're involved in your gaming sessions.  A pop-top lets you easily access the goods inside without getting crumbs on your keyboard or grease on your hands.

So what's special about these snacks?  Why eat them over simply ordering a pizza or munching on a candy bar?  They're created with special blends of vitamins specifically to, as the Science page states, "boost your core gaming systems."  Vitamin A, E, B3, C, Niacin, Magnesium, Choline and L-Glumatic Acid can all be found in the ingredients of these snacks.  Each helps to provide the vitamins you need for core functions you take advantage of while gaming, such as your vision, the health of your nervous system and eyes, and a lot more.

The major question going through my head right now is, what will these taste like?  There have been snacks in the past that have been promoted as vitamin enriched snacks, but they taste awful.  I guess we'll have to wait until early 2009 to find out, but this is definitely something I'm going to be keeping an eye on.  I'm tired of having cheese all over my fingers while gaming due to my bag of Doritos.

"A pop-top lets you easily access the goods inside without getting crumbs on your keyboard or grease on your hands." and where the fun of eating in front of pc gone?

Well, according to the ingredients, you're probably better off buying a whole lot of nuts cuz that's what those are, mixed nuts with artificial flavours... Good thing I checked, those little guys would have killed me irl.

I'd probably get some just to see what it tastes like, but like most specialty foods, it's probably too expensive to be an everyday snack.

Haha this is just a another stupid snack that is trying to trick the avrg. dumbass. "Each helps to provide the vitamins you need for core functions you take advantage of while gaming" Haha what a joke. if you do watch tv, play xbox, wow, what ever you are going to get fat if you dont eat right and go without exercise.

CraigB said Fri, Oct 3 2008 5:19 PM (yesterday) "This must be the Food Pyramid's excrement." LMAO, i couldnt agree more. i dont see myself NOT laughing at this crap when it hits any store shelf. i give it zero credit. its a moronic idea that promotes the age old stereotype that gamers are all disgustingly obese pigs. i believe that stereotype is a pathetic combination of sitting for long periods of time (WoW?) and being poisoned by the american food industry. boycott anyone? this is an insult to gamers everywhere.
