I think it is an amazing setup and I think the people babbling about RAM etc have no idea what they are talking about.  This is a very impressive system.  one thing I wondered though is if one of the power supplies is just for running the fluid coolant, etc...

Its no dual processor motherboard, so it is not my cup of tea, I know what i could do with $6000. My processors take up 1/2 of that price.

OMG.  Really?  Ok, DDR3 does not meas in sets of 3.  The 3 is just to set it abart from DDR2...you see, in olden days, ram was half duplex.  Every CPU cycle the ram could send OR recieve.  One day, a magic wizard cast a spell on ram and made DDR from it allowing Double the Data Rate (DDR) or full duplex, letting the ram send AND recieve in the same cycle.  Soon, the wizard became tired of the slower ram, and doubled it's data rate so 200Mhz could sent at 400Mhz.  DDR3 is the next step, doubling again.  What you are thinking of, is triple channel mode.  That is controlled by the memory controller inside the i7 series CPU, so DDR3 on an older socket 775 motherboard can only be run is single or double memory mode.  (that means alone or in pairs)  Learn before you speak please :)

While this all sounds nice I could never trust a company who uses DDR3 in pairs!!! DDR"3" means sets of 3 just like DDR"2" was pairs of two. It's Basic Coumputer Building 101. Either the company is full of morons that don't know how DDR3 works or they are using some junk MOBO that has it's DDR3 slots in pairs and not sets of 3...what a fraking waste!

Its a crying shame that they don't have anything with a core I7.  Two Geforce 295's or 2 4870x2's would be nice as well.

It's a crying shame people in the EU can't win this... Really :-( Surely you guys have found a way around laws in certain countries? I know that the law in various EU countries is different but I know that in the UK, sweepstakes aren't subject to scrutiny :s

Winning this would change my life. For 1 year then I would have to replace everything in it as it would be hopelessly outdated.

    Oh well, I dream.
