This is a great solution for locals, but those of us traveling as a group from faraway lands won't likely be able to be guaranteed an all-or-nothing package. Doesn't seem like Blizzard has been putting very much thought into any aspect of the tickets sales. What a disappointment!

No, Blizzard Accounts are separate. You have to have one to purchase stuff off the Blizzard store and you can also associate your games with your account to allow online downloads of the games.

I just hope we can get a time table of when this will occur . I missed out because of the bugs and have travel arrangements, so if it turns out that my luck is not great (which based on my poor rolls in WoW... I don't hold much faith =P), I'd like to get things taken care of quickly.

I do appreciate Mr. Morhaime coming out and admitting that things were not up to par.

Well I was in the process of getting the account and had tickets in my basket will that count??? Then was told nothing in cart and tickets sold out - I was so upset I did not finish the sign up process at the time - not until the next day - so does that mean that I am out???

We were trying to buy a pair of tickets for quite some time. We made it to the purchase tickets screen several times before their website bombed. If they do a lottery i hope they allow people to buy multiple tickets cause if we just win a single ticket, I won't go without the Misses.
