If you are receiving an "Unable to Initialize DirectX" message, this
does not necessarily mean that DirectX is not installed. The message
simply means that Warcraft III is trying to initialize the Direct3D
functions required to play the game, but the system is not responding
correctly. First make sure your computer meets the minimum system
requirements. Warcraft III will display this message if your Video
card, system memory (RAM), or processor is below minimum requirements.
If you find that your system meets the requirements and you continue to
get this error message, then your video card drivers may be need to be
updated or reinstalled.
