Along with the typical weekly bug fixing that goes on, we also introduced several cosmetic changes to sections of the website, as well as a brand new feature to the Account Dashboard. We also updated the Curse Client to 0.12.3 - fixing a number of bugs and making the Setup Wizard a lot easier to get through.

To get things started, let's talk about the new feature added to the dashboard - "Network Activity."

This new feature is a summary of the activity of folks on your Curse friends list. You'll be able to hit your dashboard and quickly see any updated projects, new blog posts, new articles and a lot more from any of your friends. As you can see from the example image, you'll also be updated on character progress. Currently this only works for EVE Online, but we plan to introduce the feature to other games we support as well. That said, you can imagine the cool stuff you'll be able to find out about your friends on Curse soon!

While we love adding these cool new treats for everyone to enjoy, we also realize that there are sections of the site in dire need of improvement. With that in mind, last week we deployed changes to the image and video details pages, as well as an overhaul to the browsing of the image gallery - allowing robust filtering and additional images on each page, as well as a left-menu navigation with all of the filtering options. If you only want to see images or videos from the past week, you can with these filters.

You can read more about the updates in the Image and Video Section Improvements blog post.

We also fixed all of the reported issues with logging in using OpenID. For those of you unfamiliar with what OpenID does, head over to the OpenID website to learn more.

Finally, we pushed a new version of our Curse Client out, updating to 0.12.3. Head over to the Client download page to download this latest update. There are a number of bug fixes, as well as changes based on community feedback, such as a change to the Setup Wizard when installing for the first time - reducing the number of steps from 8 to 3.
