Kotaku is reporting that EA is seeking to offer some interesting in-game incentives for people who purchase Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins. Looking to leap ahead of cautious gamers who wait until the shine of a title wears off before purchasing, EA is working with Bioware to offer a couple downloadable content items free to new game buyers.
According to the article, the incentives include access to a powerful golem ally named Shale, a set of exclusive Blood Dragon Armor, an exclusive item called the Memory Band that grants bonuses, new environments and items, and more. If you're someone who insists on buying used, you'll have to shell out the cash for these goodies, with at least $15 hitting your wallet for just one of the content packs.
If you're following Dragon Age: Origins with any level of interest, be sure to consider what you could get if you purchase on release day!
