Yep, you read the title right. Brush up on your Halo 3 skills because your chance to sink your teeth into a cool $1,000,000 in prizes has arrived. The Cyberathlete Professional League has announced an addition to their Extreme Winter Championships tournament lineup for Dallas, Texas.
In addition to the Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source $50,000 tournaments to declare the Counter-Strike World Champion, the CPL is also going to run a tournament to crown the Halo 3 champion. The prize pool is massive, with the winner raking in $250,000 of cold, hard cash. 2nd and 3rd place finishers don't leave that bad off either, with $170,000 and $100,000 prizes respectively. You can find all of the prizes on the Halo 3 XBOX 360 tournament prizes page.
Head over to the registration if this tournament piques your interest (and how couldn't it if you're a Halo 3 fan?) - the CPL Extreme Winter Championships will be running from December 18th to December 22nd in Dallas, Texas.
So the question now is, who wants to play some Halo 3 tonight to warm up?
