On the Horizon
As a gamer, one always looks out for the most innovative and recent games and technologies to tinker with, maybe even get serious about. The reason I even played WoW was due largely to the new, fresh game smell it had, and how it was supposed to be an innovative MMORPG version of the amazing Warcraft Series. Not to bring WoW down or anything, but it was a bit disappointing to find the game so... normal. It was, in my opinion, just a rough collection of Warcraft material in an MMORPG facade that could be re-sold to people who had already bought it. They didn't even try to make it better. It was a money-making scheme, and will always be just that to Blizzard. Sadly, this game had the most potential to be greater, but I suppose since I don't make games, I must be missing out on the rough cruelties of the business. I do still enjoy the game, just not as much as I figure I would if Blizzard cared more... At any rate, Vivendi has merged with Activision (as I'm sure everyone knows by now), and I see this as a good thing. While there are obvious problems, Activision will not take over how World of Warcraft is made; in fact, Blizzard is still a seperate entity. However, I feel Activision's innovative work (such as the Guitar Hero games) might rub off on Blizzard. It's a stretch, I know, but it's the best we can hope for.
Though, I hope we won't have to press silly buttons on a staff/sword/mace controller though. :P
Punny
As you may have noticed, my blog titles are warlock puns. Sorry if they're bad, but it's what I do. This one is a bit harder. It's a pun on the show "Soul Train".
The Man in Command
Azureth has hit level 55. Though, from what I posted last time, I don't think any of you will find it as news. :P And still, the hunt for a BRD group continues. No end in sight. I got close today, but one left, then the other left, and finally I was the only one left. :( Oh well, guess I'll just have to keep trying. The quests keep building up, though, so I have to finish it off soon. I might level twice in one whole run from the way the quests are looking. About 6 quests, all yellow to red, and then you add in the experience from the mobs and stuff -- I'm already quite a few percentages into the level, so I'll likely hit two dings in one run.
Anyways, I'm going to do WSG for a bit to get my marks of honor. I am bursting at the seams with honor, but I want to get the [Dryad's Wrist Bindings], since they're not only epic and come in every ten levels, but they're worthwhile for me as a lock. So, if you see an Azureth in the BG from Lothar, send a message my way. Unless you're Horde, in which a swift kicking-your-butt will do just fine. Alliance FTW!

If you want to get ahold of me, but I'm not on any of the messengers listed on my profile, send a message to me on MySpazz: www.myspace.com/randallarms (yea, that's my real name). I can't guarantee I'll get back to you quickly, but I will get back to you eventually. :D
