Four new images added to the gallery!

The guys over at Stargate World have added four brand new images to the SGW gallery.

They detail the planet of Anima Vitrus, one of the many worlds players can visit in this Stargate MMO.

Agnos is a heavily forested planet teeming with an overgrowth of plant life, while studded with a small number of buildings. In addition to the images of this plant is a new screenshot of Agnos, showing off more of the Ancient architecture and hinting at the rich atmosphere of the lower levels!

    I do not mean any offense to the Stargate Worlds team... but does anyone, anyone at all, actually think this MMO can be a success?

    If it even ever releases at all (a BIG IF), even IF it's fairly bug free, polished and ready for release (another BIG IF), I would still think that they wouldn't ever get more than 250,000 players, and that's being VERY VERY generous.

    I'm a big fan of Stargate, I've seen ever SG-1 and Atlantis episode. I loved the movie too.
    I've been playing MMO games including WoW, DAoC and muds.

    I just honestly don't see how this game can succeed.

    Has the MMO scene made me a grumpy old man? EGADS! Has the MMO scene turned me into John Dvorak?!

    I'd like to know where you are getting all of your information from because I cannot find anything to support your comments :-)

    In fact, everything is have read is quite positive when it comes to SGW.

    250.000 players is a pretty good number. Comparing with WoW isn't feasible. I'm also a very big Stargate fan and I'd love to see this game do well. Hopefully it will. Time will tell.

    Though I do kind of agree with sembiance, maybe not as much. But then again, I havent seen much of it.
