Nihilum continues their domination of the PvE portion of the game by racking up another world first; this time it's the Archimonde encounter in Caverns of Time: Battle of Mt. Hyjal.

World First Kill: Illidan Stormrage by Nihilum

Just two weeks after the 2.1 patch release, the EU-Magtheridon guild Nihilum has completely cleared the Black Temple, with their kill of Illidan Stormrage this morning.

Head over to their website to find out more - but be warned - it's loading slow right now as they are no doubt getting an insane amount of traffic all at once due to the kill.

World First Kills - Mother Shahraz and Illidari Council

The EU-Magtheridon guild Nihilum continues on their roll after their Essence of Souls World First by killing two more encounters in Black Temple - Mother Shahraz and the [Illidari Council] - leaving only Illidan left, who they are working on as I write this.

Hyjal World Firsts - Forte and Curse Rack 'Em Up

Last night the EU-Kazzak guild Forte took a trip to Hyjal and gained a world first kill on Anetheron. Then today, on the 27th of May, the EU-Magtheridon guild Nihilum and EU-Vek'nilash guild Curse also went into Hyjal, killing Anetheron, and Kaz'rogal. The Kaz'rogal kills were very close to each other, but Curse was first with the world first kill. Nihilum: Black Temple - Day 2

Nihilum returned to the Black Temple today, this time downing three bosses and completing a quest involved with one of them. You can check out all of the screenshots below, including one of Hyjal attunement, and some trash loot from the instance.

World First Kill: Kael'thas Sunstrider; Nihilum Updated

The EU-Magtheridon guild Nihilum just defeated Kael'thas Sunstrider, the final encounter in Tempest Keep: The Eye. I use the word defeated, primarily because of this image.

So while this certainly counts as a World First, it doesn't look like Kael'thas is truly dead.

You can check out images below, and be sure to head to Nihilum's website to find out more on the World First. Loot listed below; the necklaces are from the Verdant Sphere quest. He also dropped a vial for every person in the raid that needed it.

UPDATE #2

With their freshly tuned characters, Nihilum went into Hyjal and killed the first boss of the instance, Rage Winterchill as a World First.

A bit after, Forte also killed Rage Winterchill(on their first attempt, and with only 23 people).

World First Kill: Al'ar the Phoenix God - Nihilum

Nihilum, on the EU realm Magtheridon, killed Al'ar the Phoenix God - the "first" encounter in Tempest Keep: The Eye - this afternoon. By first, Al'ar is the initial encounter you come across in the zone, but many guilds have snuck past him to kill Void Reaver, as Al'ar was quite poorly tuned in comparison.

World First Kill: Lady Vashj - downed by Nihilum

Nihilum, on the EU realm Magtheridon, killed Lady Vashj today, the boss of the 25-person raid instance Serpentshrine Lair. Apparently she respawned on them, and they're killing her for a second time, so she's still very badly bugged. Not included in the loot screenshot is mention of two Nether Vortexes dropping - the item needed for the third tier of crafted TBC items. Also of note, she only dropped four of the Vials needed for Hyjal attunement. It looks like people will need to kill her quite a few times to attune everyone for Hyjal!

World First Kill: The Lurker Below by Death and Taxes!

Last night, March 13th, Death and Taxes of the US realm Korgath, defeated The Lurker Below. Though they claim this is not the first time that they've killed him - hence showing two sets of loot - he was also killed last week.

Apparently there's a bit of a rivalry brewing between Death and Taxes and the EU guild Nihilum, as you can see from the quote below:

World First Kill: Void Reaver - downed by Nihilum

Death and Taxes killed Leotheras, the second boss in Serpentshrine Cavern, on March 4 2007. This was the world first kill on the boss.

Someone has made it to level 70 in The Burning Crusade!

Gawell of Archimonde (FR) (Gnome, Mage) has made it to level 70 in 27 hours after the release of The Burning Crusade. He may have had 10-20 level 60-62 guild mates powerleveling him the whole time but he is still level 70.

So Congratulations to him I guess, and what a great guild he is is.

I can see the comments on this now: "Screenshot or it didn't happen!"
