Odd, I could've sworn you were talking about World of Warcraft.

Fight trash. Fight boss. Get loot. Repeat. Never win. (escape the lich king in the new patch also :O)

People here are way to biased to even comment here, have you played any other games? And have you REALLY played them? Just because WoW is the game you've played the most, doesn't mean it's the best.

Let me give you this parallel;

1,000,000,000 flies can't be wrong. tastes good!

12,000,000 players can't be wrong, WoW is a good game!

With an obvious emphasis on ****, sa you can see there.

Myself, I play WoW a LOT, but it's far from the best game out there, there are even MMO's that eat WoW for breakfast, but lack of players doesn't make it worthwile.

NOW you can all discuss. Damn fanboys.

LOL. Neither WoW or Halo are the game of the decade. Far from it. People here obviously haven't played that many games. What happened to Half-Life 2? Dragon Age? Baldur's Gate? Diablo 2 anyone?? :p

Halo vs WoW, just doesn't work. Might work with Halo games vs Warcraft games.

If only Halo vs WoW, then Halo hands down. If Halo games vs Wawcraft games, then you have something to discuss.

Halo is DEFINITELY not game of the decade on the account that games from the 90s were better and more advanced than it, WoW... maybe in a wierd way i feel like it did have a massive influence and did characterize this decade (as the worst decade in gaming because everything became a casual cash grab), and although it WAS good up till wrath of the burger king, it was not the best game of the decade. I actually don't like that title because some games just can't be compared, crispy gamer.com is really stupid and scrubbish though so i'm not surprised. But i guess influence and characterizing this terrible decade wise, sure why not....

Halo is a one-trick pony. Here's Halo 1-3 in a nutshell:

Fight Covenant. Fight Flood. Blow up something. Escape Flood. Win.

Never bothered with ODST cause it didn't seem any better after a half an hour of play (although the "Horde" game play mode seemed cool, but outdated due to GoW2). I have no online experience with this due to FPS gaming with a controller. It is fail.

While there have been stale periods in WoW (been playing since vanilla), they always seem to bounce back with a new patch or expansion with renovated ideas, concepts, quests and/or features.

I will be HIGHLY disappointed if WoW does not win.

I like wow, the only thing I wish they did was update the graphics more. Fortunately, I know how to push the graphics further than you're able to do through the interface :)
