Ever wanted to add more music to your Minecraft, but every mod that does it isn't satisfactory? They use up all your sprite indices, take hours to download, and/or are shabbily made by novice modders who don't really know what they're doing?
This mod is here to help you. Currently, the main download is 24 megabytes, which shouldn't take longer than a minute on a below-average internet connection. There are no plans to make it bigger, either. It uses the Forge sprite API, so you don't have to worry about running out of image space. And the records actually display correctly; no "C418 - NeverGonnaGiveYouUp" here!
There is also a portable disc player, so you can play your songs anywhere in your world!
And to top it off, it's super-easy to create custom discs AND custom disc albums to share with other players - no programming knowledge needed!
Download and Installation Requirements:
Minecraft Forge for MC 1.2.5
Download v1.0 for MC 1.2.5 here.
For earlier versions, visit the Minecraft Forum thread.
To install, simply open up the ZIP and copy the contents to %appdata%/.minecraft and it's installed! No messy editing of minecraft.jar! It can be uninstalled at any time by deleting the More Music Discs folder from .minecraft/mods.
