- About UI Central
Take the stress out of maintaining addons! UI Central is a free tool that runs on Windows and Mac OS X, which keeps your WoW addons up to date automatically. It will try and detect which addons you have, and highlight ones which are out of date. You can then simply click Update and it will update all of them to the latest versions with no fuss. If it accidentally detects an addon you don't have, simply right-click on it and press Hide. You can also use the tool to remove addons you don't want anymore.
To install, simply open the tiny uicentral.jnlp file included in the package. This will download the full version UI Central to your Start Menu, or the Dock for Mac users. From there you can copy the shortcut to the desktop if you wish. Please note: UI Central requires Java 6. Mac users must install the beta version of this from http://uicentral.incgamers.com/v4/javase6dp9.dmg before attempting to use UI Central.
UI Central is digitally signed, and virus/spyware-free.
Important note: you must click "choose a mirror automatically" after clicking Download above. The Curse Client is not currently able to install UI Central correctly.

Zoopes saidwell i got vista too bellak and i got the same error message. since the newest version of ui central came out i just kept using my out of date addons but because of the new instances and such coming in from the new patches i finally decided to delete all my old addons and get new ones.... since ui central no longer worked i tried not using it and just putting the addons straight into the wow addons folder but this didnt work as when i went in game the addons button wasnt there (proving the game didnt see that i had any addons). so seems to me the only way i can use any addons is from ui central but because of vista i cant even use ui central.... someone want to tell me how to make ui central work or tell me why warcraft isnt detecting the addons i put in the addon folder?
