Short: Allows you to remove ninja-AFKers from instance so you can get someone else inside. Requires both target as raid leader to have this addon, but it is the only way to remove a player from a raid instance without waiting for them to disconnect after the usual 30 minutes.
Description:
This addon allows officers of guilds to remove players from the raid when they go ninja-AFKing inside the instance. After we had to wait for multiple members inside my current for over 20 minutes I decided to write this addon. It prevents having to wait for 30 minutes before a user is logged out to start with a boss.
Please note that this is not considerred botting since this addon doesn't do anything out of itself but it requires something to activate it.
The addon uses very little recourses and only watches the whisper and hidden addon channel with very small checks which will not change your performance at all. (though for some reason we had lots of very nice random trash drops last night)
While my current guild still uses this addon I will continue updating it with their feedback. However, your feedback is more than welcome aswell!
Features:
- Forcing to release spirit. The raid leader or an assist can force any raid member (who has this addon) to release to the nearest graveyard while dead. However to get this player killed you will first have to get him to die with, for example, a misdirection. You can activate this by whispering "!release" to the user.
- Forcing a logout. If the raid leader or an assist is an officer inside the guild of the ninja-AFKing player, then you can force a logout by whispering "!logout" to the user.
- A version check to see if all users inside the raid have it installed.
Both forcing to release or logout can only be activated if the target player has the <AFK>-tag.
Forcing a player to logout has many limitations to prevent abuse. It only works while in a raid group inside a raid instance (from ZG to SWP) and can only be activated if the player is <AFK>-tagged, when you are an assistant inside the raid and officer or GM at this user's guild. Officers are recognized by rank number (first rank is always the Game Master, and most times second are Officers) and wether the rank includes the word "officer". It can be activated by whispering the target player "!logout" and then the 20 second countdown timer will start.
However, forcing to release spirit doesn't require you being officer inside the target's guild. So it also works for external players currently inside another guild joining a few raids.
Currently there are no options available (you can't disable the addon ingame either which was intended) and it is Ace2-based.
Available commands (shorter version: /zrr):
/zeroreleaser versioncheck - shows a list of available sub-commands. (short: /zrr vc)
/zrr vc all - lists all players and their versions.
/zrr vc none - lists all players without the addon active.
/zrr vc old - lists all players without the newest version.
/zrr vc whisper - whispers all clients without the newest version of this addon to either update or install it.
/zrr version - show your own version
/zrr about - shows some details about the addon.

Aest saidHay man Sweet addon but i was wondering if it's possible to make an addon that can force a logout on some 1 who’s not afk like to try and stop some 1 from wiping the raid group? btw i know that could be abused but it would be Really helpful in extreme cases

Zerotoresque saidIt would be possible, but I really don't want to allow such situation. The raid leader shouldn't be an all-knowing, all-powerfull god and you need a little trust in your members aswell :P This is also why I chose to use the logout with the 20 second timer instead of to quit the game instantly since this allows the player to cancel it when some attempts to be funny.
The limits in this addon were all made so the raid leader doesn't have a too easy time annoying players. I could add a 100 things that would help a raid leader by spying on his members like a latency check, but at the end that's not what this addon is about and I personally think you should trust your members.

Zerotoresque saidYes, the only way to make this addon work is to tell every raid member to install it.
With the versioncheck you should be able to see who has and who hasn't got the addon installed and replace those players untill they do. My current guild decided to made this addon required for every raid member like Omen, CT_RaidAssist and BW/DBM is. If they don't have all required addons installed they are uneligible for any loot untill they do, which works quite effective. It allows you to kick players that go AFK for a "20 minutes toilet" or "fall asleep in front of their pc" or simply forget to Hearthstone out. Blizzard doesn't allow you to remove these players from the raid instance so you would have to wait 30 minutes for them to discconnect.

mrsmurftoyou saidyeah in raids i haven't had this problem as of yet, mostly heroics, which act the same as raids. that's why i was interested in the mod.
