This is the "everything but anchovies" version -- the download contains all of the Fishing Buddy related add-ons in one convenient package.

A full-service fishing add-on.
A fishing addon that keeps track of the fish you catch and helps manage your fishing gear.
Features:
- 'Easy Cast' lets you double-right-click to cast when a Fishing Pole is equipped
'Easy Lures' will put a lure on if you need one
'Auto Loot' will turn on the auto-loot function if it's not on already (but only while you fish)
- 'Fish Watcher' lets you see the fish you've caught here before (or the fish that you've caught in the current session)
- Display your current skill level and the time since you started fishing
- Choose your fishing outfit and change into it easily
- Support for automatically adding a lure to your fishing pole
- Full Titan Panel support
- myAddOns support
- Preliminary support for tracking 'cycle fish' such as the Nightfin Snapper so you know when to go looking for them
Example commands:
/fishingbuddy or /fb
toggle the display of the Fishing Buddy window
/fb help
print the list of Fishing Buddy commands
/fb switch
wear your chosen fishing outfit, or change back
There are two actual add-ons -- the second one, OutfitDisplayFrame, handles the pretty pane to set up your fishing outfit (it's next on the list to be made into something more general that anyone can use). The OutfitDisplayFrame addon can be safely left out if you have a preferred equipment manager.
alt-clicking on an item in your outfit display will clear it

In addition to displaying the fishing bonus for your fishing outfit, it also displays your 'style points' as inferred from Draznar's Fishing FAQ (http://wow.toshimo.com/viewtopic.php?t=272).

brendon saidGreat Addon. Just curious, what is the purpose of the "Use Action" checkbox in the "Easy Cast" section. I cant figure out how it really does anything or why it would be desireable.

AU518987077 saidUse Action refers to the fix for the German client where the double-right click feature wasn't working for a while, the fix was, you put the fishing skill on your toolbar, enable this option, and fishing buddy looks for this button when you double right click, instead of doing what it normally does to auto cast on double right click, hope i've helped you out in some way

Since you have a fish counter for each area , i assume it will be easy to make a total of all area's ..

moldavia saidwhat exactly are you asking because I have no clue to what your question is even implying that you want done in the macro. theres not much more you can automate the lure by simply double right clicking it automatically puts a lure on.

I would like to use the +75 fishing lure Use: from the 'Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat' I recently got but I does not appear to work at the moment with latest version 9.0.4l. At the moment it uses the +100 'Sharpened Fish Hook' in my bag (the hat is equipped as I wear it fishing). I take these out of my bag to test but it doesn't automatically use the hat lure (checked it was not on cool down etc. also swapped gear etc). I did see you posted on this before but not seen it confirmed working. Thanks

Sutorix said@Moonraker -- it "mostly" works now. I'm still tracking down the bug where it uses the sharpened lures instead of the hat -- I think I've figured it out. It also needs some work when it tries to use the hat and you just put it on (i.e. the cooldown hasn't finished yet).
But all in all, it's working for some approximation :-)

Moonraker saidThanks for your quick response Sutorix. I did try it with sharpened fish hook lures in bags and also taken out. Even removed from bags did not seem to help (no other lures present except fishing hat). I also tried it making sure the hat was off CD and was not working either. There is the cd when first putting the hat on and also on Use, though that should have worn off before it tries to reapply the lure (10 mins). If someone clicks the lure off it still has to wait for the 10 min CD. Just feedback from my experience.
Edit: OK I found it will use the hat lure BUT only when I use the double click cast. It then applies a lure if needed (fish got away). I use a key bind to my mouse for fast cast. That does not work for the Easy Lure. Is it just casts using double cast that trigger the lure use?
Anyhow, many thanks for a great addon ;)

Moonraker saidYes, sorry maybe I wasn't so clear. From what I understand then, unless 'Easy Cast' is selected (i.e. cast on double right click), then Easy Lure and Always Lure will not function? (they are sub selections of it I see now on the panel). I say that because unless I use the Easy cast (right button - double click) to cast it does not work. I have Fishing key binding to ctrl + S for mouse button cast and when it casts it does not attach the lure.
Unfortunately I can not set my mouse button to do a double right click action, only primary left button.
Just to confirm then, with Easy Cast selected, Easy Lure (and Auto Lure selected though not essential for it to add the lure), when I double click (Easy Cast) it adds the lure from the hat perfectly. Even with Sharpened Fishing Hook lures also in the bag.

brdrker saidSutorix, it even gets stranger... it works for perfectly on Jubie'Thos, but I have the reported problem on Silver Hand. I blew away the Silver Hand directory in WTF and recreated it all from scratch. Problem remains. I will check the sRaidFrame situation since I know I have that mod.
Edit: Confirmed. If I disable sRaidFrame (latest version) the problem goes away. With sRaidFrame active and a fishing pole in-hand, right click once (I have FB set to double-click), FB casts. Right click on the bobber, FB re-casts. I can run w/o sRF and fish with other characters, but hopefully this can help you look into the conflict and see if there is a resolution on your end. Understand, though, if the answer is "no."

However, since I've recently started using Grid, I too have the problem that brdrker and Yeoman described: the raid frames from Grid somehow affect the easycast doubleclick by casting after the first right click. I did try changing the strata in Grid, but this did not solve the problem.

Yeoman saidYep, confirmed, yesterday i was searching for addon, that conflicts with FB, and it's sRaidFrames. Makes just one-click cast, and no looting after that.

Yeoman saidWhen 2 addons enabled (and EasyCast enabled) i can cast with 1-click, then when bobber spalsh, i click on it once, and there is no messages and no loot, just it recasts it again. Doubleclick makes no difference.
When 2 addons enabled (but EasyCast disabled), nothing happens not with 1-click, not with doubleclick. I just need to open spellbook, and find that fishing spell, click it, and then it casts, and after that i can loot it without problems.
So sRaidFrames does not brake default fishing, it just breaks EasyCast feature. Disabling or enabling AutoLoot in FB changes nothing.

Sutorix saidThat means that it's an interaction between secure frames and grabbing button-clicks. sRaidFrames grabs *all* button clicks, FB just grabs the right click. I'll play with it some and see what I can do.
