ATSW is a complete replacement for Blizzards tradeskill window with more overview and special functions.

This replacement (works for all tradeskills, now even enchanting!) provides you with:

- a better overview
The ATSW is bigger than the standard window, resulting in a much better overview over the thousands of items you can produce. Additionally, it lets you sort your recipes either by groups (as in the standard window), alphabetically or by difficulty. Alternatively, ATSW even lets you create your own groups and sort the recipes the way you like!
ATSW also has a filter function: enter something into the filter line and ATSW hides all recipes that don't contain the text you entered. But this filter function can do more: it's a powerful search function that can filter for minimum/maximum level requirements, producable item counts, item rarity (color) and reagents necessary. Check out the readme for details on using this function!

- more comfort
The ATSW has a production queue: you can queue several different items and have them all produced automatically by just clicking one button.
The ATSW is able to consider items you have to produce in order to use them as reagents in the production of other items. So: if you need item A to produce item B, you don't have to manually produce first item A, then item B. The ATSW does that for you: you just tell it to produce item B and it automatically queues the production of item A and - afterwards - item B. If you are missing some reagents to produce both items you get a message telling you exactly which reagents you need.
ATSW helps you telling your friends what reagents you need for a specific item: just click on a recipe with your shift-key pressed and the chat line opened and the reagent info will be added to the chat line.
ATSW shows you what reagents you need to process the whole production queue. It even tells you how many of each reagent you have in your bank, on alternative characters on the same server (in this case, it can even tell you on which characters) and which reagents are buyable from merchants. In case of buyable reagents ATSW can automatically buy all missing and available items from a merchant when you are speaking to him.

Please note that ATSW has grown to be quite a complex addon and it might still contain some bugs. Please tell me if you encounter one so I can fix them.

ATSW is localized in german, english and french language.

To get rid of Queued items while checking the AH.....hover over the red X at the bottom of the queue window...the tooltip reminds you that you can Hold the SHIFT key while clicking the X to remove ALL Queues.

Whenever I have a queue and open my bank (I have the option set to open the reagent list on opening my bank) I have the ATSW window popup with my char name and the type of list (Engineering or Jewelcrafting on the char in question) but the window is blank.

I use ArkInventory but the issue persists whether it is enabled or not. Any thoughts?

The auction house shopping list is showing items queued for alts on other realms. Any chance of removing this "feature"? Other than that minor issue, this is a great add-on.

Hover over the X at the bottom corner....it says to Hold you SHIFT key while clicking the X and the Addon will delete ALL queues.

Are there any plans to make the search use the new search features of the default Trade skill window, such as searching by level, if the item adds crit, etc? This is really useful in the default trade ui and I would love to see atsw able to do this.

    I have a feature request:

The feature of having queued items listed in the AH is nice - but often times it covers other auction interface tabs. Having the ability to "hide" the window (sort of how Light Headed lets you hide the added panel) would be fantastic.

Otherwise - love ATSW and couldn't live without it! (Well, ok - I could technically live without it - but I wouldn't want to)

I've had this same thing happen as well. I disable ATSW for awhile then reactivate it a few days later and working again.

The version above listed for 2.4 is not for 2.4. This is what you see in the .toc file:

    ## Interface: 20300
    ## Title: AdvancedTradeSkillWindow
    ## Notes: An improved window for your tradeskills (v0.6.9)

It's the same one uploaded for version 2.3.

Well there is a bug somewhere... but not sure where. I opened up Enchanting window and that worked well.. but when I dragged the window it disappeared never to be seen again. I removed ProfessionsBook 2.1.8 but that did not help. My Leatherworking window was also gone.. I had to remove this add to be able to enchant. Hope we get these bugs out as I love this addon and depend on it for my skills :P

"For some reason I cannot see the trade skill window with ATSW enabled. I think this may be because it was dragged off screen and won't reset. I've tried deleting the cache and both ATSW files in both SavedVariables folders, anyone know what to do?"

I've got exactly the same probleme. Something like a "/atsw reset" wich resets the position would be very nice.

If ATSW is freezing your sytem do this-
    replace "AckisRecipeList' with 'TradeJunkie'
    disable/delete 'ProfessionsBook'

The only improvement I would LOVE to see would be to be able to organise my items by item level, so I can see what items I can make for my levelling friends and alts. Other then that, great mod, thank you very much =)

Very good add-on. Can you do a modification so it lists ingredients in the guild bank ?

I have the very same problem. I love this add-on, but I need a way to reset the window's position from the command line.

Awesome addon, but I just got the exact same problem just now :(

  • March 13, 2008, 12:23AM (1 month, 4 weeks ago)

As of today ATSW is causing my wow to completely freeze when opening it. No error are tosses the game just freezes and has to be force terminated through ctrl+alt+del ...

This on top of previus memory issues (increaseing memory by 2mb each time any proffesion window was opened, and not releasing that memory back properly) is making it unusable now.

I LOVE this add-on and hope that it will be one day updated. However, I think I will try Skillet as I am having an issue now with ATSW locking up my computer when I open the Tradeskills window:(.
