wowaddict saidSorry for the long wait. Having problem to upload the file to curse-gaming over the weekend.
Anyway, this is my first attempt in writing addon. I released it as BETA and need all your feedback and bug reports.
This addon has been passed through so many hands, and it's time for some code cleaning up.
Also, I'm looking for translator to make it more region-compatible. I added many strings into the localisation.lua.

One thing I noticed though, the feeder option seems to only want to feed when pet is unhappy? Can we get an option to have it feed when pet is less than happy, not just less than content please?

phuze saidIs there anyway you could fix the thing where you have to take damage for your wolf to use furious howl? i would like to check a box and have it continuously go off as soon as the cd is up.

chocky saidI installed this version of smartpet and the latest keyminder (extended).
Both are running: smartpet config window opens and the icon and tick boxes are on pet bar. keyminder is in the keybindings (I set a key) and staus shows it is there.
But nothing happens when i press the keyminder key.

wowaddict saidchocky: no sure if you understand how keyminder works. You have to REPEATIVELY mash the bind key and it will queue them for the subsequent autocasts. There are 2 versions of keyminder. One is rewritten for movement keys, which means you must be constantly moving for your pet to autocast actions. Another requires some hardware (or other software) to poll the key in the background. For me, I use the F7 key on my G15 kb, and set it to toggle repeat. You can do the same if you have Nostromo keypad.

wowaddict saidphuze: I don't understand what you mean by "cd is up". I don't think furious howl autocast was working in SmartPet 2.5.1. I may consider implementing your request in the next patch, if you can clarify.

"cd is up" in that context meant "cooldown is up" which itself translates to "as soon as the cooldown period is over and the ability is available to use." <smile>

wowaddict saidJMHammer, phuze: If I understood you correctly, you meant to cast furious howl whenever it is ready? But isn't this already available within Wow?? Right click on furious howl till you see a glowing border. The difference in this addon with bite management is disabling and enabling spells at a controlled interval, and of course, blizzard blocked this in 1.10.
Kaaihn: The last time I tested, I can still feed my pet even if she is happy. Do you have keyminder running? I will try again without keyminder.
Thank you for all the feedback. I will definitely look into them. Unfortunately, Wow is under maintainance schedule today, so I cannot test.

wowaddict saidSo far, I haven't heard any showstopper bugs, so I going to release another gold version soon.
Please vote what you like to have in the next upcoming version.
1. Pet feed herself automatically when she is less than happy. 2. Integration with Titan Panel. 3. Kindbindings or Auto attack the same target as your pet or yourself. 4. Pet Defend. However, I need to assess how much work need to be done to port it over.

Please please please ... make this SmarterPet to where pets dont break sheep etc !!!

please let all of us hunters what the deal is? I know I have in proper directory..... its unziped etc....being a addon freak my megs is at 90.
I think the coding is wrong so the wow is not recognizing it?

wowaddict saidFoxyLady: It's already doing what you want. Your pet will not attack sheeped targets. However, if your pet is already on a target , and some mage sheep it, your pet will not stop attacking. This is a known issue.
You unzipped to the wrong directory. It should be Interface\AddOns\SmartPet, not SmarterPet. Sorry for the confusion, curse-gaming doesn't allow duplicate addon name. Basically, SmarterPet is an continuation of SmartPet addon, hence no change of install path. I will fix the pathname in my next patch.

wowaddict saidKaaihn: Tested pet feeder with and without keyminder. Regardless of the happiness level, I can feed her anyhow. I managed to stuff 10 roasted quail down her throat :)
