About FloTotemBar

Add button bars for quick access to totem spells for the Shaman and to trap spells for the Hunter.

There is one bar per totem elements and one for trap spells. Obviously, only the concerned classes see the appropriated bars ;-)

Spells are added to the bars automatically when you learn spells.

Each bar has a timer to track the remaining life time of the last casted totem/trap.

You can use the context menu to change many settings.

/flototembar panic|reset

Reset all settings and reload the UI

/flototembar unlock

Unlock the bars so you can move them.

/flototembar lock

Lock the bars in place

/flototembar auto

(default) use an automatic placement of the bars at the bottom of the screen. Detect optional action bars, XP bar, reputation bar, number of totems per bars.

/flototembar scale <ratio>

Scale the bar by a <ratio>.

/flototembar borders

Show borders (default)

/flototembar noborders

Hide borders

/ftb is an alias for /flototembar

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

To the Problem about it not showing up for Arriaa Garantzes and Maugor, i had the same problem but all i did was type "/flototembar panic" and it reset it and i got it working again so give it a try and let me know if that resolved it.

I'm having the same problem Garantzes and Maugor had. One day when I logged on the flototembar just wasn't there. I've tried deleting and redownloading it but that hasn't worked. Anyone know how to fix it?

One thing I would enjoy is the option to change the color of the timer bar along with the newly added background color option.
As I had myself earlier changed the color of the timer bar to blue to match a shaman more.
Otherwise this is an awesome addon and saves so much space for my shaman and hunter!

I've been upgrading this addon for a while for many classes, and i took screenshots for you too see here. Also made for warlock, but i dont own one so, no screenshot.

If owner allows me then it's fine.

However, i can't get all the skills to work, if the class has too many skills (either they're hidden or not) the addon simply skips some. Why?

I love this add-on on my Shaman. Had it for my Hunter but now that I play Shaman, I can't see myself using any other add-on ....works great!

@Filoux : Hum, ça donne l'impression que je n'ai pas téléchargé le bon fichier, parce que pour le 2e point j'utilise les nouvelles fonctions blibli pour détecter la mort des totems à la place du journal de combat. Ces fonctions sont efficaces à 100%, contrairement à l'ancienne méthode, donc étrange. Est-ce que la fenêtre du chat affiche la bonne version à la connexion ?

Bonjour Floraline et merci pour ton add-on.

Avec la nouvelle version (2.4.0.12) je me retrouve avec 2 soucis :

- La fonction "alt+click sur le timer" que tu as ajouté pour supprimer un totem (ajout du patch 2.4) ne fonctionne pas chez moi. J'ai essayé pas mal de choses, notamment virer tous mes autres add-ons mais rien à faire ... ou alors c'est moi qui ne sait pas cliquer :p

- La destruction d'un totem par un mob ou un sort ne reset plus le timer (Ex : Totem de glèbe qui absorbe un sort, le totem disparait au sol mais reste actif dans flototembar avec le timer qui décroit ; idem pour un totem de dégâts de feu détruit par un mob). A noter que ce pb existe depuis la 2.4 quelle que soit la version utilisée de flototembar. Je crois que Blizzard à modifier des choses au niveau des messages de combat ... Y-aurait-il un rapport ?

Dans l'attente de tes réponses ;)

not trying to make ppl not use your add on but for a pure shammy add on i use totem timer its alot like this one but w/ shield / wpn buffs along w/ reincarnation but it doesnt have the hunter stuff like this. this one looks alot better too.

I don't plan to add shield or weapon buff to this addon, I want o stay focus on totems. And I don't have time to work on other addons.

@ora :
- Je connais en fait très peu d'addons, l'interface de base me suffisant (sauf pour les totems ;-) ) donc je ne pense pas faire de miracle d'intégration. Je regarderai quand même si je peux au moins faire en sorte que ça marche un minimum.
- Hum... peut-être un jour mais pas pour tout de suite.

J'aurais qq "request" si c'est possible :)
-Est il possible de rendre FTB compatible avec CyCircled ou alors ajouter Dreamlayout comme dans Bartender 3? (juste un détail esthétique ^^)
-Est il possible d'intégrer un range check pour les totems? Par exemple la surbrillance sur l'icone du totem posé qui changerait de couleur selon si nous sommes dans la zone d'effet du totem ou même la barre de timer du totem qui passerait verte ou rouge. Enhancer a cette fonction mais je n'utilise pas toutes les autres, donc si FTB pouvait le faire :)

Hm, no comment on my request to add the shaman weapon buffs and the shields to this or another add on? The existing ones by other authors that I've tried still cause me too many UI errors or taint as of the last updates I've tried.

I love the changes in the latest version of the mod, this is the best totem manager around, I hate all those sphere type things. I have been trying some things like ShamanBuffBar, ShamanWeaponBar and ShamanShieldBar and all cause UI errors and lots of taint, atleast with the other mods I use. I was wondering if you'd consider adding the shields and weapon buffs to this mod as additional bars or perhaps making another mod for those, it would just improve on my most heavily used mod :)
