DrDamage displays the calculated, average damage or healing of abilities with talents, gear and buffs included on your actionbar buttons. The addon will also add various information to the default tooltips in your spellbook and on the actionbar.
Slash Commands:
/drdmg or /drdamage
Functionality:
- Supports all classes
- Actionbar addons supported: Default, Bartender3, Bongos 2&3, CT_BarMod, DAB, Nurfed AB, CogsBar, InfiniBar, FlexBar2, TrinityBar 1&2, idActionBar and IPopBar.
- Places a text with metric of your choosing on the actionbar buttons
- Also supports macros if their tooltips set to the spell/action with #showtooltip spellname
- Different damage and healing statistics from tooltips on the actionbar and in the spellbook. This includes for example crit %, spell damage and damage coefficients, averages (w/ or w/o crits/DoTs), DPS, DPSC (damage per seconds cast), damage until OOM and more!
- Includes your buffs and the target debuffs in calculations
More information about functionality:
- Uses mostly default WoW API to retrieve your stats, keeping tooltip scanning to a minimum
- Uses the same Adaptable damage/healing calculation engine used for all the calculations
- Easy table design to add/modify talent effects, spells and buffs/debuffs
- Allows manual modification of the essential base stats used to calculate (you can test how much that +n spelldamage or healing would increase your spells different calculated values)

- Modify your macro to show the blizzard tooltip by inserting the line: "#showtooltip Spellname" or "#showtooltip Spellname(Rank x)"

pediswow saidI'm not sure if this has been addressed before, for rogues: mutilate with dual wield specialization doesn't calculate properly. The offhand doesn't show the buff in damage it would get from DW specialization.

stielwuhl saidThe tooltip and ActionBar numbers for the Druid skill 'Pounce' aren't reflecting the increase in bleed damage due to attack power; according to WoWWiki (and confirmed by some testing) Pounce's bleed damage is increased by 18% of AP.
The in-game tooltip doesn't say anything about damage being increased by attack power, so it probably just didn't get noticed.

purabasura666 saidThe DPS calculation for AoEs such as Blizzard is incorrect for my lvl-38 mage, and so is the one for Arcane Missiles. Perhaps damage is divided by 1.5 secs instead of the duration of the AoE?

Gagorian saidThe new blizzard 2.4 GetSpellInfo API apparently returns 0 as their cast time (for every channeled spell), hence 1.5s was used as default. I've fixed it in the latest wowace release.

Artarion saidI'm having a hard time getting the tool tip to show. By default it was working great, and then I started messing around with the resilience option... and *poof*
I now have the standard tool tip for the ability (playing a rogue), but not the one listing "Next 1% crit/hit/100 AP". To the best of my knowledge everything has remained the same. All tool tips are active, and I've tried forcing an update. Hell.. I even uninstalled it, and re-installed the new version (5 hrs old), and am still left in the cold.
Over all great work. Very pleased and impressed.

Artarion saidOddly enough, I logged in later today and it was working great. I did mess around with the profile, but never restarted the game to fully test it. Perhaps that was the key.
Resilience is still giving me problems (nothing world ending though). At 0 resilience, all numbers are displayed properly. As soon as I put 1 point into resilience, my damage on Rupture (have it set to 5 combo point display) goes away and I get an error. Other 5 combo point talents stay, just the DoT Rupture.
