Description

Bongos Cornucopia is the successor of Bongos Skinned Map. It adds many extra Bongos bars to your interface. Some bars are really simple, others are highly customizable.
Hardcore users may be glad to know that, besides Bongos Cornucopia being divided into several addons, most of them are modular.
Please always use the newest Bongos 3 version to prevent bugs!

Bug Reports

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

Was there an actual update or is this another of Curse's faulty updates? Also, is there any way to get the current download listed at the top to actually point to the current download?

hey Jaliborc, tnx for the great mod ;) you can move everything on the screen .... except the buff/debuff icons. is there a possebility that you can make it moveble as well ?

That may happen because you can click in the minimap to cast that spell, and casting spells is a Blizzard protected function. I will try to fix the bug soon as I can.

The following UI elements are complete unable to be used:

Quest tracker (why are there two of these?)
Capture
Durability
BG
Tooltip

There is of course no way to move or edit the settings for these elements as they have no hit areas, only a scale icon. This should be addressed.

1º: The are no 2 quest trackers. There is a quest tracker and a quest timer. Totally different things!
2º: I've been experiencing that bug when changing profiles, and I fixed it in the development version. It was caused by an AutoBongos lib bug.

You have to choose the Beta 9c version. It is happening since Curse created CurseForge. I will try to find a way to upload the next version correctly.

when you next update this addon move the "This mod is still beta!" to right below the "This mod requires Bongos 3" message so that people will realize that the mod is beta and then NOT mark the file as beta. this would fix the problems with the curse client and still making the fact that its still beta obvious.

The reputation bar disappeared on me and there doesn't seem to be any way to bring it back, either with slash commands or the config mode. Anyone else have this issue?

I know that issue. Type in chat:

/run Bongos3:GetModule('Reputation').bar:WatchReputation()

The reputation bar was made to work with the Bongos Xp development version. The current one will cause the reputation bar to be hidden when the user clicks on it.

EDIT: Update to Bongos 1.3 and to Cornucopia 9c

I think this happens because Beta 9 is marked as a "Beta" version (obviously). And, with the last Curse changes, the default download will be the last "Release" version.
I couldn't figure how to change this with the new CurseForge

Curseforge is painfully slow. I'll put in a ticket when it doesn't take a couple minutes to load. Until then...
Someone already pointed out that the mapbar in bongos2 did not have the indoors/inside issue of going blank. The only features that remain are drawn there by other addons. There is simply something missing between the two. Up until 2 hours ago I used Bongos 2 and its mapbar (because Bongos 3 didn't have one or any plugin for a while).

Some things to note:
When zooming in/out the minimap will draw when indoors/inside. This does *not* fix the problem for long. Changing subzones will cause the minimap to go blank again. There are other factors that seem to cause the minimap to go blank.

The minimap going blank is not a Bongos Cornucopia bug, it's a Blizzard one. Any addon setting the minimap opacity to less than 100% will cause it to go black. The only solution is to report the bug to blizzard (I'm too lazy).

honestly fix your downloads for the (download) link as well as the (current version link) the newest version is ----BETA 9---- if you download from the current or download link you will ahve the 2.3.3 version that was updated 2/26 I am sure you don't want that!

But i cannot load the mod because it says dependency disabled: requires Bongos 2. Any ideas whats up? I was running this mod perfectly last night :(

I don't know why, but Curse sets the las Bongos SKinned Map version as the default download. Make sure you download Beta 9
