Description

A single Action Button which manages all your mounts. Mouseover the Action Button and a Menu Bar of all available mounts will allow you to select which mount to make active.

Features

Quick access to all your mounts through a single Action Button.
Easily switch between various mounts via the Menu Bar.
Bind any key to the Action Button.
No setup required, supports all mounts natively.

Usage

Mouse over the Action Button to bring up a Menu Bar of available mounts.
Change the active mount by selecting a different one from the Menu Bar.
Click the Action Button to summon your mount.
Resize the Action Button by draggin the 'Resize' tab in the bottom right hand corder of the Action Button border.
Lock the button in place by clicking the 'Lock' icon in the Control Panel.
Hold the 'Alt' key down while hovering over a locked Action Button to bring up the Control Panel.
Move the button around the screen by draging the Action Button border.
Toggle the orientation of the Menu Bar by clicking the 'Arrow' icon in the Control Panel.
To bring up the Options Frame click the 'Settings' icon in the Control Panel.

Options

Show Action Button - Enable to display the Action Button
Show Tooltips - Enable to display tooltips while hovering over the Action Button or Menu Bar.
Show Hotkeys - Enable to display the Hotkey text on the Action Button.
Use Shift-Key - Enable to show the Menu Bar only when holding down the Shift-Key.

Key Bindings

To bind a key to the Action Button open the Options Frame, click the Key Binding button, then press the key you wish to bind. To clear the Key Binding, hit the 'Escape' key while attempting to bind a key.

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

Can you maybe re-upload 1.03? I'd really like to have the broom/ram support, but curse still won't let you download 1.03, only 1.02 and below.

Capsian, I have a couple of suggestions for the mod =)

Cause we can't use flying mounts in Azeroth, how about 2 moveable buttons?
We could set up one for our ground mounts and the other for our air mounts.

Those that don't have air mounts yet can simply hide the second button or choose two different ground base mounts.

Also thought about adding a 'Lock button' option in the option window, saving people who don't know about the holding ALT down over the button window. Just an added way to do the same task.

Whilst I was thinking of this idea, I thought of a way the options window could be to support this, but only did a mock up picture as a picture says a lot more faster than text. =)

Excelent suggestions. I especially like the mock ups - I will definetly work on improving the options frame. I have already added the lock option, just not released 1.03 to the public yet.

As for the two buttons - the point of the mod was to make it simple to switch between mounts (ie: flying / non-flying) as well as maintaining a single access point / key binding for all of your mounts. By adding a second button I would be detouring from this original design.

I may reconsider in time - once the mod matures a bit. Thanks for taking the effort to write and draw! Ideas are always welcome.

It's no problem at all man, just my own imagination.

Currently i have two x corral installed. Cause I want two buttons that i can simply click (too lazy to change from flight to ground mount.

The way i installed the second corral was to rename everything in one of them to corralla. lol.

For me personally, it's just easier to have the two main mount buttons positioned and click which one I want. I do understand the switching thing you mentioned though but i kind of select the one i want and leave it locked in place. Using your mod to save real-estate of other actionbar buttons being used by mounts. :)

I'll always be checking here for updates to your mod though man, and generally if i have an idea, I'll let you know, sometimes doing up a picture cause it seems to be easier than typing out an essay lol. =D

Keep up the good work though man. Your mod has saved me an entire actionbar of mounts as I collect mounts. >_>
