Rogue builds?

World of Warcraft

Hey there,

in the past couple of days i checked some rogue builds of some us top-guilds. Most notably obviously D&T but others aswell. I came to notice that quite some dagger rogues are using a seal-fate build.

As i'm not a rogue i don't know every detail about their builds but it seems to me like PvP spec. Is there any specific reason for choosing this build or are those players just PvP'ing alot. Our rogues are mainly using 17-25-10 builds.

Just having a hard time that a guild like D&T or Overrated would actually allow this :p

thanks in advance!

Seal fate is a PvP spec. Pretty much all of the rogues in DnT are combat daggers for progress.

Hi Xi, cheers for you prompt reply. Would you mind posting your default spec for your dagger rogues? It's quite a discussion in my guild atm.

thanks, malte

I'm not sure exactly what they're specced since I'm swords myself, but this should be a good resource for you.

Yeah our rogues typically go combat daggers while learning a zone(though our human rogues are sword spec). I usually respec to seal fate to screw around in pvp once we have a zone on "farm mode", but I dunno if that's gonna be very viable until we have rogues sporting Kingsfall/Death's Sting combos with the dps requirements of some of the Naxx fights.

thanks in advance![/QUOTE* Most of our rogues are swords actually, the exception being myself (lucky enough to get our lone Death's Sting). I'm 17/24/10 though.

Most rogues spec combat because we would make fun of them relentlessly in rogue chat for sucking on damage meters if they didn't. It's not really a matter of forcing them to, we just want to.
