curse v3 feedback

They've since changed that to put the random numbers at the end. At least this makes it easy to sort and find my mods when I'm command line unzipping them and using tab completion. Now curse has this stupid random number at the beginning. > > Please do not reformat the filenames. I should be able to sort my mods by Name and find the one I'm looking for and type it in at the command line with out having to memorize a phone number each time. > > It really makes managing my mods a pain. > > Thanks for considering this request.
It is something we plan to change. It was supposed to be ready for relase but we didn't make the changes in time. So you will have to wait for the second mirror to be setup to able to get the normal filenames since we can't bring down this one do make the change.
I really loved the old quick search functionality. It took me days to realize there was an image on the front page (on the right) that led to the Add Ons section. I kept looking for a link on the left nav.
Also, I have to log in again fairly frequently. With the last 2 versions, I rarely had to log back in.
- EDIT* Forgot to mention I'm using Firefox 2.

We have completely remade the sessions system. It is the system that handles if your are logged in, your tracking of thread views etc..
That means you shouldn't be randomly loggued out anymore once it is updated on the live (either today or tomorrow: the sessions server will be physically moved so it takes time)
FFS! Will you stop pissing about with the favourites section!! Its finally working as it should, reflecting correctly the updated mods, then you go and piss about with it again, all my mods now have a last updated date of 17th Dec 2006 and I have no idea now, which ones have been updated since my last visit.
If you're going to do anything to the favourites section, at least do something worthwhile, like:
- add check boxes for multiple removal and updating last viewed - add download links for each addon instead of having to go into each one to download
Thanks.
- A pissed off and annoyed Curse-Gaming fan.

Would you like to recode it yourself so that it can actually handle a million visitors a day? If not, then please don't judge what we're doing, we are trying to make it so that Curse NEVER has traffic problems on peak days so that other users, who don't nescesarily care if they lose a tiny piece of functionality, can still download files on those days.
For the record, we DID add download links to the favorites.

GSCyanBloodbanelittle update for you. I didn't try changing the password last time i had to reset and the email given one worked on the first shot today. Gonna try changing it now and let it autolog out and let you know if the new password works or the old one. Starting to think it may be a change password issue. dunno
