You need to merge your account with a curse account.
Step 1. Go to minecraftforum.net and click sign in at the top.
Step 2. Click "Need to migrate your old account?" at the bottom of the form.
Step 3. Enter your old minecraftforum.net username and password in the form on the left and click "login"
Step 4. Your "local username" will display in the left. Now for step 5 pick either of the following:
Step 5a. If you have a curse.com account click "login" at the bottom of the right form.
Step 5b. If you do not have a curse.com account enter your information in the right hand side form to register a curse.com account
When I forgot my account username, I got the email with the new password. Then when I entered it, it didn't work. Later I remembered my password, and it got me in.

thanks! now i just need to sort out the problem with having accounts i didn't know i had...
Whenever I try to sign into Minecraft Forums with this account it brings me to the migrating thing... It says "Your email address was found in the local database. Please login with your local account to link it to your Curse account." and comes up with Jozeth as my minecraft forums username, i sent out a reset password and i got it... But whenever i enter it i get "Your local username or password is invalid." but on the email it says "
Your username is: Jozeth
Your email address is: ******@hotmail.co.uk
Your new password is: ***************
"
So why isn't it working?

I want it merging with this one, bcause i already know it's merge with my old one...
