Dear Curse,
I have been on the forum for just a couple days now and noticed that I suddenly have gotten the #2000 error. As far as I have seen, this is supposing to be a IP ban, but what have I done? I did not create spam topics, nor was I hacking accounts or even sharing my account. The last that happened today was one of topics getting removed due to the fact that I have forgotten to remove the adf.ly links, since most of the copy was content and I have the rights to copy it.
Now I have written to some kind of "sgt. ***" moderator (don't remember him completely), that it was not that friendly to remove the entire topic, instead of just removing the adf.ly links. Does this get me permanent banned? This would be a bit ridiculous in my opinion, since I was still being polite and not rude.
Hoping to get an answer soon :)
You were banned for using adfly to link to wikipedia articles and posting information on the "deep web", which appeared to advocate piracy and illegal activity.
I was just thinking that people should know that something like that exists, how is that illegal? Not everything in the deep web is illegal, there is some good content as well, which is sadly not shown by google :(
So I know that I have received 1 point because of the adf.ly links, but just because I posted an artical about the deep web?
May I be getting another answer soon?
Apologies for the delay, your ban has been lifted. Sorry for the inconvenience.
