Updating: Bartender 4 & MSBT

    alright so i havent updated MSBT (Miks Scrolling Battle Text) and Bartender 4 since before 4.3, and i was wondering if i updated it now (via Curse Client) would it make me re setup them ingame? or would it carry over my old configuration? (same question for both MSBt and Bartender 4) thanks.

    Configurations always carry over unless the author specifically states why it wouldn't.

    To put it a different, and possibly clearer way:  the Curse Client has nothing to do with addon configurations.  Whether a new version of an addon will read the old version's configuration is completely up to the addon maker.

    In general, since addon makers know that not carrying over configurations tends to anger users (especially when the configurations are complicated), new versions of addons will read old configurations.
