There's an old addon that I used to use that hasn't been supported since TBC.
If possible, I'd like to see someone bring back the addon 'Gag'. Better yet, if they could redo it from scratch for better stability and features, That'd be awesome!
The addon used to be able to play sound clips for people who had the same packs. If anyone is interested in working on this, as a former user of the addon, I could offer some advice on features. Message me if you like!
The project itself is All Rights Reserved, so anyone wishing to pick up this project would need to get the original author's permission.
Hmm. Seems like bad luck.
The project's marked as abandoned though. Also, wouldn't it be possible to create something simliar from scratch, using only original code, and a unique name for the project? I may be a bit new to the legalities of these things.
Also, what's to be done if the previous owner can't be contacted at all?
You can make a workalike using all original code. That's the only option you have, if you are unable to contact the original author and/or obtain permission.
