I'm trying to find older versions of mods that I can use with the 1.12.1 client. How would I do this?

to play on private servers, (which isn't allowed by blizzard)
Are you sure? I thought EMU servers were against the TOS? I know there was a website that got in big trouble a while back for having a forum entirely dedicated to WoW EMU servers.

You should just upgrade your client, much easier.
We do not allow discussion of private servers on Curse.
