Cannot download add-ons via Curse Client

I apologize if this has been said before, but I still haven't found a solution.

I am using Windows XP, Service Pack 3, Media Center Edition, and I am using the Firefox browser version 3.0.11.

When I go to an add-on page on Curse.com and try to "download the add-on via Curse Client" I get the "Launch Application" window where it says "This link needs to be opened with an application. Send to:" and it always automatically gives me "C:\Program Files\Curse\CurseClient.exe" -url"%1" for the link (which, when the whole thing worked like before, would work). After I get this and chose "OK" to the link it gives me (and has always given me) nothing happens. Before when I chose "OK" it would start downloading and installing the add-on but now it does nothing. I have tried this with a few add-ons and I still get the same result. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client but it didn't help. I also cannot seem to be able to download add-ons through the "Find an Add-on" option in the client.

I also tried as best I could to do what "myrroddin" suggested here (http://www.curse.com/forums/t/104247.aspx) but that didn't work, although, I'm not completely sure I did that right anyway.

That is all I can think of to write about the problem. Hopefully someone can help me.

Thanks.

I suggest downloading the client manually, then running it once. After that, then you should be good to go. http://www.curse.com/client/

Thank you so much. It now works and I can download add-ons via the client again. What's funny though is that I swear I did the same thing when it stopped working thinking it would help, but nothing. But of course when I do it now it works, lol. Thank you again and thank you for replying, so funny as well that I mentioned you in my post and you're the one who replied. :)
