i just downloaded an addon for the 1st time. now when i try 2 log in it loads about half way then it freezes. then a box that says "error" appears i click ok, it exits out of WoW then it has then other box that says "You can send this error to help us find the problem" or something but when i play without a addon everything is fine, soem addons work but others dont. please help if you can =]

Sorry, but you aren't providing enough information. What addon, did you install it correctly, do you have an Addons button on the char select screen, did you go into there if you have it and turn on Load out of date addons, what was the error?

k ummm well quest helper is the one not working i am using windows vista. the addons button is there other addons work. and i turned on load out of date addons. and the error is a big X in a red circle and u can only press ok or exit out. i hope this helps

Alright, so I don't know what the error is, but you could try typing /qh hardreset and see if that fixes the issue. On the addons list from char select, if you mouse over QuestHelper, does it say anything like missing dependency? If so, it will tell you which one you are missing, if that is the problem.

same thing is happening to me.. installed quest helped and auctioneer.. when i uninstall addons, i can login.. but with addons installed, load bar freezes when its almost finished and i get the same error mentioned above

Exact Same problem here, the normal Critical Error Box appears now, but it doesnt w/o questhelper
