Question about syncing with Curse client v4

I have installed the v4 client on my main gaming computer, and I'm going to install it on my secondary computer.  My secondary computer already has some addons on it, and I was woundering how the sync works, if I add the secondary computer to the sync group, am I going to get the addons from the secondary put on my primary?  Or should I erase the addons of my secondary computer before I install and sync the curse client, so that way the addons on my secondary computer match the addons on my primary.  And is the syncing automatic, or do I have to press sync to get it to do it.

Hope I didn't confuse anyone with this message.

I have to say that I'm not impressed with the documentation for the new client - it's almost impossible to figure out what it supposed to do. Of course you can "guess" based on the text on the dialogue boxes, but as it doesn't seem to do what the dialogue says, that's no help. I thought that it would ensure that I have the same set of addons installed on all members of a sync group and that the configuration of these addons would also be synchronised. The client does seem to keep the same set of addons installed, but it sure doesn't keep the configuration synchronised - which to me is the most important part. If I spend 4 hours rebuilding my UI (as I did recently) I don't want to have to repeat that on another box, which is why I thought that the client might be useful. I also thought that it might keep my questhelper and auctioneer DBs synchronised, that's a no too. Oh well. Another dissappointment to be chalked up to experience.

The documentation, along with with help menu items, are forthcoming. Please remember this software is still in Beta for Windows, and Alpha for Mac.
