ne one have anything better to suggest or something of the same nature as bongos?

The author of Bongos (the last version being Bongos3) has now come out with Dominos, his new project in the same line of thought.  This one has a few less features (my main complaint being the removal of the very powerful minimap control tool, which was a part of the now-unsupported Bongos Cornucopia), though works extremely well!  Full support of ButtonFacade, which is very nice.

If you find that Dominos is not quite to your liking, give Bartender4 a shot.  I have not personally installed it, but have heard good things.  I am very much liking the functionality that Dominos does have, so no complaints there!  So, I'd say give Dominos a shot, and if you find that it's not doing what you want anymore (the method for manipulating bars is only somewhat similar in feel to the way bongos did things, but take a few minutes and see if you can get it to work for you by experimenting) , try out Bartender4.

hmm, well, i tried bartender4 and i couldn't figure out how to customize it. so i guess ill try dominos.

The author of Dominos has done a good job of keeping it updated. While it's still missing some functionality and it's lacking some of the features from Bongos, he's catching up.

I personally dislike the configuration of Bartender(X) as it is very cumbersome to modify one bar. The biggest benefit to Bongos (Now Dominos) was (is) that you can, while in the configuration mode, simply right click on a bar to adjust it's settings. I feel this is the stronngest aspect of the mod making it one of the most user friendly bar replacement mods available.
