I just had to point it out that after mindnight on release date that the servers were pretty stable and ran smoothly, eh?

Just remeber the scale of the change that Blizz is trying to make all in one day. Problems will happen and I'm sure that we will all be credited for the extended downtime. I am sure that they did not expect to be down for so long but I am also sure that they did anticipate issues so let's give them a little time to accomplish the major upgrade. Remember it's a lot to do to get a whole new part of the world up and going. The extra server load will be huge on it's own. Each and every new mob, NPC, etc... has to be accounted for and each needs a server somewhere to drive them.

I say a few days of downtime is good for everyone. It's not like there are a few servers up and only they get to play, they are all down.

So you're saying that you'd rather go through all this garbage after the release? Im sure that they are trying to get as much straight as possible before they let everyone run rampant on the fist night of the release. And like i said, Awe they took your dollar! Do you think you can run a multi million player game any better than they are? Has any other company done something like this before? They are pretty much running a miracle. Atleast they actually care to keep the game running good.

a days credit?!?! ive been waiting since tuesday morning to play.(wich today is just wednesday) and i have to work tonight, so that meens no playing today as well.....this **** really anoying....they should compinsate for at the very least 2 and who knows...the way things are going its gonna be another day or so probably.....by the time we get to play again itll be tuesday again and then yet more **** ups on behalf of Blizzard.....if we wasnt paying to play this damn game monthly it wouldnt be bother but damn.....i work hard for my money....WTF!!!!!!!!

I think its not even the refund I dont care about that, its just the whole thing is insane. less then 24 hours to release and the game as been down for 2 days? I am sorry but that is unacceptable. Yes this is a GAME but it is also a business and myself as a small business owner if I ran my business this way I would be broke so blizz really needs to get better updates or do something to fix these problems that are popping up, this should of been fix BEFORE WOTLK was being shipped out!

lol, You are all so immature. You want a crdit for 2 days? Thats 1 dollar. Get over yourselves. They are a big corpartion with MILLIONS of subcribers and to say that they brought down their own website. Im pretty sure the website couldnt handle a couple million peolple logging on just to QQ. And for them to get a new maintenance crew, you're all pretty smart. The new guys will have no idea what to do in a RL situation and probably lead to more downtime. So do them and yourselves a favor and grow up. If you don't like it then quit your subcription and dont get Wrath. They still got that other 11 million people.

F it, its 1214am est im done. was gonna do the midnight purchase, but not after this i think ill wait till my next day off and maybe get wotlk, or just go get gears2 and cancell wow. we shall c.....

I highly doubt it is a publicity stunt. Angering your entire player base days before you hope they buy a new expansion doesn't make any sense at all. The thing that is really interesting here is the fact that they have taken down their forums.

Yup, It's on mine too.

This goes to show that Blizz had this downtime planed for some time and did not plan on telling us about this. This crap is getting old.
