i am also unable to log in because of some uknown log in error, unable to verify credentials

any one know how to fix this?

Well, it works now, I'm not sure how long, but it works. All I did was uninstall everything for the client, then restart my computer, and redownload the client, and bam! Maybe the amount of traffic on the Curse network was causing problems. Anyway...

I have the same exact problem and can't find a fix for it. Everything was great until the Ulduar patch came out, now my addons don't work. I tried to go to the manual installation instructions on the curse database, and coincidentally I get a this page does not exist message. I've been trying to figure this out for like 2 months. Keep me posted if you figure anything out.

I also tried making sure the firewall and virusscan had nothing to do with it.. make sure its on ur exceptions for the firewall. Umph!

Unknown Error logging in

I'm sure a lot of other people have this problem, but whenever I either open the Curse program or click on the button to log in, it says, "An unknown error occurred contacting the server." My account name and everything is correct, and I'm sure that my virus scan is not affecting anything, but I just can't reach anything beyond the login screen. It's strange though that, before this stopped working, I downloaded Quest Helper a couple weeks ago with no problems, and I am using it in WoW every time I play. I would like to check for any updates for it, but I can't get to my profile in Curse to be able to do anything.
