Ndoors Corp. Kicks off Atlantica Online Open Beta for German Client

This is great news for German Users! Atlantica Online released the German Client! I found this article saying that Ndoors announced that their newly opened office in Germany has recently launched the open beta phase of Atlantica Online, with a game client fully translated into German! This is amazing because if you have a server in your own country or we can say it's been localized then there won't be any connection problems! I am very happy because of this great news!

Woot! A new costume is out... The native American costume which can be gotten from the "Heritage of pocahontas." It looks so cool and can already be viewed in the costume book. Also I like the fact that now you can pick if you will get the costume or the headgear after getting the clothes bundle. Mycenae is already being swamped with pop-ups on the costume. Gonna get me one of those, how about you guys?

I’m tired explaining one by one to people how to enhance the way I do, so I might as well put in on post and good luck to the people who wish to make a living off Vulcanus. Because whenever I get a pop up, people would ask me how, and I like to help out, but it’s getting irritating already. So here goes.
First of all, there is no guarantee that you’ll get rich, but in my case, I got my first billion at around level 70 enhancing thru Vulcanus. I call it “Smart enhancing”.
It’s a given that the success to fail ratio plays around 50:50. But one can make the success odds higher when you keep enhancing, but still no guarantees. In my experience, I failed 14 items in a row, which was really unlucky. On the other hand, I have enhanced 2 items 1-10 straight. This is an extreme scenario for me, but normally fails usually go around 4 to 5 times straight.
What I’m suggesting is that when you fail 4 to 5 times, you’ll most likely make a success on the next one. I’ve explained the same thing to other players in my server, and most of them made +10’s that same day.

Now we need mounts, cool mounts, something that is truly unique from the realms of mmorpg. Something that has a really cool function or feature

So, do you have an ideal mount for Atlantica?

I might dream for a steam powered mech that looks like that from the mechwarrior series (hey AO got mars and mercury riders, why not a steam mech?)

Atlantica Online New NPC "Medici"

Hi guys! Have you tried the new NPC Medici? He sells golden boxes for 1 million each and on those boxes you can find very precious items like EXP books, Skill books and Rare Weapons like Officer’s Shotgun and Stormbringer! Last night I tried to buy 1 boxe from him and I almost got myself a Stormbringer! Too bad that my computer was just a little bit laggy so I thought it roulette of items stopped on the Stormbringer! I got an EXP book by the way which gave me an instant 5 million exp! Not bad on my first try! I also heard that if you get into the top 10 richest players in game you will have a title like Server’s Richest which gives you an additional Attack Power +20%, Defense +15% and Workload +10%! So how about you? Have you tried your luck with Medici? What did you get?

New Mercenary: 'Punisher'

    * New Mercenary Punisher has been added.
      - Type: Melee Mercenary
      - Weapon: Power Saw
    * The Punisher can be obtained from the Recruiting Punisher quest.
      - You can begin the quest by speaking with Christine near Silent Detroit.
      - You must be level 102 or above to begin the quest.
    * Detroit Cemetery, Leather Face's Hideout, and Lonely Backstreets dungeons have been added for the Punisher Recruitment quest.

Atlantica Diary

    * Atlantica Diary has been added.
    * The Diary features a "To Do" style list of daily activities.
    * Using Atlas Ore, you can increase the daily limit for some activities.
      - 1 extra quest completion bonus experience.
      - 1 extra free league participation bonus experience.
      - 1 extra Equipment Analysis.
    * You can check the latest Atlantica news from the Diary.
    * The Atlantica Diary will display interesting daily historical facts.
    * You can access the Atlantica Diary from the "My Info" menu -> "Diary"
      - A shortcut for opening the Diary has been added: ALT + D

Monster Origin Info

    * Monster Origin Info has been added.
      - Origin Info is the 4th step of Monster Information, following Item Information.
    * When you have Origin Information on a monster, you will receive an additional 10% experience from that monster.
    * You can share Monster Origin information an unlimited amount of times per day.
    * You can only be shared Monster Origin Information from other players twice per day.

Clothes Book

    * Clothes Book has been added for storing clothing and hats.
    * You will obtain Collection Points for clothing items stored in the Clothes Book each day.
    * Retrieving stored clothes will cost 20,000 gold.
    * You can also preview your character wearing any clothing/hat combination from the Clothes Book.
    * The Clothes Book can be accessed from the "Game Info" menu > "Clothes Book".
      - You can also access the Clothes Book by clicking on the "Clothes Book" tab while viewing anything else in the Atlantica Information book.

Music is one of the important factors in gaming; it brings life to the game, sometimes giving you energy to play more. Usually you hear different genres; from instrumental to techno to rock music. But what if instead of music, you put the musician him/herself into the game. Well musicians are becoming common to MMOs nowadays, using lute or guitars as weapons, but their traditional appearance are somewhat looked medieval or Victorian. But everything will change as Atlantica Online released a new kind of musician on their latest patch.

The Minstrel is the latest mercenary to be added into Atlantica Online. What makes her different from a traditional musician from other MMOs is that instead of portraying a classic appearance, she portrays more of a modern version, making her into a badass rocker chick. Aside from her looks, she is the only mercenary that uses an instrument and also can counter a power saw user, with her Seal Power Saw Skill; she can disable any power saw user from using their magic. Aside from the Seal Power Saw, she can be healer and debuffer with the Salvation Skill and a Silencer/ Damager with the Hallucination Skill.

Acquiring the Minstrel can be attained on level 100; to start the recruitment quest; you need to find and talk to NPC Nina Paganini near the Dallas Lawless District. The quest is influenced by one of the most celebrated violinists; Niccolò Paganini. The quest story revolves around Nina Paganini, a famous virtuoso, who was banished from Italy when the townspeople feared on her incredible talent, she now resides at Dallas Lawless District, but her parents were murdered by the Machine Brook’s Gang, she needs your help in avenging her parents and removing her newfound home from violence. What makes this quest different from the previous recruitment quest is that it has a time limit in accomplishing a certain task, if you fail to finish the quest within the time limit, then you have start the quest over again.

With the new mercenary, new strategies will be unfolded, letting players reorganized their formation to make new diversities. And having a Minstrel in your formation can be really cool, as it looked like you are forming your own rock band.

this thread is meant only for fun guys ;)

so let me start first...

I always want to see a gunslinger type of merc, the one who can wield two pistols, it'll be so cool to see one

here's a sample of a character with two pistols (from a different MMO)

and it can only hit 2 column targets instead of three by a gunner but it has a higher chance to combo it's attacks (and it shoots twice)

and for the skills:

outrage overdrive = can hit 3 row targets
concentration = increases critical rate and accuracy

The Punisher in AO

The Punisher will be the first power saw mercenary introduced to Atlantica Online, so those of you who have yet to play as the power saw hero can still experience his power as your mercenary.

To begin the Punisher recruitment quest, you start by speaking to Christine, an NPC just outside of Detroit. She lost her family in the infamous “Detroit Massacre” of 5 years back, and became a sheriff to take vengeance on the two men she blames for the massacre: Frank Reade and Ed Gein—yes, it was influenced by the notorious serial killer of the same name.

My character i think is already a slightly high level one and I'm kinda thinking that at his level I should be earning at least around 100m+ a day... I do my fair share with the jackpot license and doing great but it seems that it is not enough anymore. Anybody wants to share any tips and tricks for income? Please enlighten me... and please no referring to gold-selling sites cause those kinda sux.
