did you know the news about atlantica online they post in their news sectiona nd found out that they have an account in face book, twitter and also in x-fire ^^

Well what does it really do? if you add atlantica in facebook and twitter?

there are many things like, you just extend your social netwotking and gain  interaction to all and meet new users and also you can join in their event and  you will be updated eve n if you dont go to their site and you can add the m on your facebook accts and twitter. you can share your ideas and opinions freely ^^

the game has new updates, they already implemented the changes in the game...

it's also a good way for mods and admins to interact with players, they can post updates and contest, and can even held real life player gatherings

I agree with the interaction but it'll be hard for the players to meet since Atlantica is an international game. Maybe the players in each country could have an eyeball on their own.

ya i agree...we usually do the player gatherings for an international MMO, and so far, many players are attending as more gatherings were held

well i guess that woul  be a great idea, actually its better to havea gathering for all the players of Atlantica, though many of us are in a different country well like uhjpae said, they can create their own gathering to the players with the same country and it would be the best if we will post it or announced it o our social networking sites, so that the other players will be informed too and if they are interested then its up to them to go to that pplace even if theyre far or near the gathering sites ^^ i wish we can have it here in our country and if that happens i will join the party weeee lol ^^

ya,we can post it on the forums and even on some social networking sites, but we should also advertise it in-game, since not all players usally visits the forums

if we are looking for a good venue for the gathering:

the first choice would be an internet cafe with AO installed in their pcs, we can make a thread on where do players usually play to find what area AO players are commonly found

another venue would be at a resto bar, we'll just post that we'll be having a AO gathering party at a specific place.

well they can support the gathering by promoting it on the website, in the game and on the forums

then they can provide in game items or merchandise as prizes on any activities that gathering can host

as for the rentals, either the attendees and/or the organizers will shoulder it in case Ndoors would be able to assist the expenses

I think it's a site where you can play Atlantica Online even if you don't have the Atlantica client.

I remember one gaming company that made a live video conference during their player gathering event, and yeah, it would be expensive to do that, but if it's just  small gathering, i guess skype and Yahoo messenger are the cheaper solution

Yahoo messenger won't do. It must be a video conference like the ones they use in the office. ^^

dunnow what office you work in uhjpae... but we dont' have any in our office. oh well maybe we do but in our dept there aren't

i'm also thinking if video conference is not possible, we can try v\using voice chat like skype and ventrillo

or they can just send us a video clip of their gatherings and then send them back of our video

It's hard to plan this without ndoors consent. It's not that your running out of ideas but, its just you cant move to the next step. ^^

but if the video conference is indeed impossible, why not make a video montage of the gathering instead, and then ndoors will just post it on their website

This is very helpful because if you are updated you can gradually increase your chance in winning events.
